Story
My husband and I adopted Leo from the Harker Heights Pet Adoption Center! He is around 1.5-2 years old. We got Leo as a companion to his littermate, Marco, whom we adopted when he was 4 months old & they are showing signs of littermate syndrome. Leo is a shy/anxious boy who would do best in a female only household, as he’s been abused by men & if there’s dogs, dogs his size. He does still need basic training and 1-on-1 attention. He is slowly grasping the command “sit” and “come” but is not confident. He loves to play fetch and loves to be pet once he’s comfortable. He hates baths and hates the harness but is completely fine once walking or in the car. We truly believe he can thrive in a different environment, one that can give him the care and training he needs. We have three other dogs including his brother and realized we can’t give him the proper care needed with his background.

Story
Maggie is a year and a half, born December 20th 2019. She is fantastic with children and other dogs. She will try to give you as many kisses as you will allow and loves cuddles. She has a lot of energy (I usually walk her a mile every morning). I’m looking for a happy home for her that can give her all the attention she can acquire as well as adapt to her active life style. She loves the dog park and for the most part does well on a leash with a gentle leader. She is allergic to metal. She is AKC registered and we have all her shot records and papers. She is crate trained so I usually leave her in her crate when we’re gone or she’ll hop up on our couch as if it’s her own. She is a wonderful loving dog. We did not clip her ears so she looks so playful all the time. We absolutely love her and I want to keep her so bad but I know there is a better suited family out there for her❤️

Story
This is Hunny. She is a playful dog who loves to run. She is sweet and smiley. She's good with kids, we have 3, but she is a bit jumpy. She's an exitable fun-loving dog. She's good with other big dogs. She loves peanut butter, cheese, and steak. Good with thunder storms and loud noises. We are looking for a new home because we are a military family and are relocating to Alaska. We are looking for a nice family to take care of her for the rest of her life.
