Molly is a 1 ½ year old chunky monkey full Saint Bernard. She has more energy than most Saints dream of. She loves to play fetch and would love for someone to take her on walks and give her the attention and training that she needs. She is approximately 100 pounds and could stand to lose a few pounds. She is spayed, current on all vaccinations, heartworm negative and house trained for the most part. If you are wanting a fabulous Saint Bernard that can be active with their humans, Molly should be considered. She is always happy and is always so excited to see and be touched by her humans. Molly would prefer to be the only dog, however, she lived with her mother and sister most of her life. In concern for families with small children, we will not adopt a dog to a home with any child under the age of 5. This is due to the large size of Saint Bernards and the safety of your children. Our Saint Bernards are not aggressive or mean in any way, they can just knock down children easily. Story

AhSoka (aka Soka) has a ton of energy and is always willing to go on walks or runs, and play tug of war with toys. She loves toys but she is very gentle with them. She loves to keep her toys close and will put them next to her beds.Soka would do best with dogs her own size or bigger, with proper introductions and time. With her high energy she tends to get in the personal space of other dogs without realizing that they may not like it. She has been around small dogs but most of them tend to dislike her high energy and when they snap at Soka she will take it as an attack. For that reason she would do better as an only dog until she can adapt to other, preferably bigger dogs. Soka is great with people. She loves to cuddle on the couch or bed but doesn`t always need to be right there with you. Once she sees nothing exciting is going on she sometimes goes to her room or bed to chill on her own. Otherwise she is all about laying in your lap. She needs a few interactions with different females in order to grow accustomed to them but she is then super friendly. Soka is good with kids who know how to be around big dogs. Soka has a high prey drive with squirrels so she will not do well with cats. Soka has not been pool tested but she will handle a bath just fine.Soka is house and kennel trained. She knows basic commands such as sit and shake.

Nana is the mother of Sullivan, the 7-month puppy. Both were found to be strays. Nana weighs approximately 110 pounds and has a beautiful rough coat. She is spayed, current on all vaccinations and heartworm negative. She does have an extra long tongue which she was either born with or it was due to trauma sometime in her life. It does not affect her ability to eat or drink, she just has a very long tongue. She is approximately 2-3 years old, has a great disposition and is ready and looking forward to finding a wonderful new forever-home. In concern for families with small children, we will not adopt a dog to a home with any child under the age of 5. This is due to the large size of Saint Bernards and the safety of your children. Miss Honeybun is a senior Saint Bernard that weighs approximately 95-100 pounds. She has had a hard life and has been used for breeding all her life until we rescued her. She is very sweet, loving and well behaved. After all she has been through, she still thinks people are wonderful humans. When you look into her eyes, they almost speak to you. She responds to most verbal words like a human. She is almost magical. Honeybun is looking for a home where someone will give her the love and attention she has never had. She is low energy and will just sit and let you pet her and love on her. She is good to other dogs that we have introduced to her. She is spayed and is recovering from bloat surgery. We have had her stomach tacked so she should never have to worry about bloating again. She does need her rabbi shot and which will be done prior to her leaving St. Cloud’s Rescue. She is heartworm negative and will be current on all vaccinations before she leaves St. Clouds. Story

Henry is a beautiful rough coat Saint Bernard and is one of the cutest little boys you will ever find. The original owners gave them to a person and just said “get rid of this dog anyway you can”. This nice couple contacted us and brought Mr. Henry to us. If you saw his original pictures, you would understand he needed to get away from where he was living due to the inhumane conditions and lack of care. Henry has been with us for almost a month and his hair is coming back and he is such a joy to play with. He weighs approx. 80 pounds and is between 3-4 years old. He is 100% housetrained and heartworm negative. Henry is great with other dogs. He will be going to the veterinarian in the middle of June, and we will know more about his health condition. He has already been to the veterinarian once for all his skin and lack of hair issues. He does not have mange. He is currently not on any medication. His favorite thing to do is get on the bed with you and roll around. He is the kind of dog that likes to do zoomies and has more energy than most Saints. Even though he looks like a full Saint he is likely mixed with something else. Henry would be the perfect dog for a family that wants a playful dog that is very attentive and smart. If you want a smaller Saint Bernard, Mr. Henry might be a super match for you. In concern for families with small children, we will not adopt a dog to a home with any child under the age of 5. Story

Roscoe is much bigger in person than he looks in the photographs. He has a beautiful rough coat. He is perfect in confirmation and is breathtaking to look at. He is approximately 6 years old and weighs approximately 120 pounds. Roscoe came to us as an owner surrender because he prefers to dine on live chickens rather than to eat chicken dog food. To most of us that are reading this story, there would not be any discussion long term, we would have gotten rid of the chickens and not the dog. However, in today’s world that is not always the case. Rosco had been with the same family since he was a puppy. He can be very stubborn when he wants to be, has a mind of his own, but he has always been gentle and kind since we have had him. He does not enjoy having a bath and it will take 2-3 people to bathe him. That tells us many things. He has spent more of his life outside than inside. However, here at St. Cloud’s Rescue he is 100% a well-loved, well cared for gorgeous giant Saint Bernard. He is not yet neutered but will be later in June. Roscoe is house trained. We do not recommend him to go with a family with a young family under the age of five. Not because he is mean, but because he is too strong and could knock over children. He weighs app 120 pounds and should be around 140 pounds. In concern for families with small children, we will not adopt a dog to a home with any child under the age of 5.
