Story
Several months ago two stray pups showed up at our doorstep. We believe they are brother and sister mixed labs. We took them in, but now realize we are unable to keep them with our three young kids. Thunder is the black female with white paws and Lightning is the yellow male. They are not housebroken; they stay in our backyard. They are diggers and used to dig under our fence regularly until we installed an invisible fence wire. They enjoy going on walks; they do ok on a leash. When passing other dogs, they sniff but show no aggression. They are friendly with our children, but they occasionally do jump up on them. Most of the time, they will sit on command. We have not seen aggression from either dog. The female does not like the male around her food, but does not mind if people are near her while eating.

Story
Meet Xena, the 46-pound bundle of contradictions and joy! This 1-year-old Collie Shepherd mix is a delightful enigma wrapped in a fur coat. Rescued from a daring freeway dash by a selfless samaritan and some kind-hearted firefighters, Xena is now looking for her forever home. Xena's personality is a delightful blend of her Collie, Shepherd, and Husky lineage. She's loyal, loving, and a bit of a goofball. Energetic yet chill, she’s a talkative, nosey, and stubborn sweetheart who loves to play with toys but isn’t a huge fan of the great outdoors. When she's not making you laugh with her antics, she’s more than happy to cuddle up and bask in your attention. And don’t be surprised if she confidently scoots herself between you and another dog to get her fair share of pets! Training Xena is a bit like taming a whirlwind. She listens well one-on-one, but her focus drifts when other dogs are around. Wire crates are a no-go—she’s an escape artist extraordinaire— but she's perfectly fine being left alone in the house, where she usually lounges on the sofa. During car rides, Xena will provide endless entertainment by barking at people, other animals, and inanimate objects alike. Xena is a social butterfly with dogs, adjusting her play style to suit her furry friends. Whether it's playing rough with the young pups or trying to gnaw and nudge her older buddies, she makes every interaction unique. She hasn’t been tested with cats but we suspect she would probably engage in a chase given her breed! With people, Xena is a mixed bag of bark and shyness. She’ll bark and move towards new folks but becomes wary and shy up close. However, once she warms up, she’s all about the cuddles and pets. She hasn’t spent much time around children, but her calm demeanor suggests she’d be just fine. Energy-wise, Xena is a mixed bundle. She could thrive in either an active home or a more relaxed one, as long as her new family is patient and willing to work with her. A big yard isn’t necessary; she’s content lounging indoors, provided she gets her daily dose of play and mental stimulation. If you’re looking for a quirky, loving, and endlessly entertaining companion, Xena might just be the perfect match. She's a unique character who will bring a lot of love and laughter to her forever home. Ready to give Xena the loving home she deserves? She’s waiting to meet you!

Story
Hansel as you can see is an extremely handsome boy! He's definitely a very loving and loyal young man. He's a giant baby and absolutely adores being by your side along with a toy that he can suck on as he's taken to having a soft toy in his mouth no matter where he goes. A big baby with a big heart. He does love to play with his other foster siblings but is content to just lounge around while you go about your business. Such a great dog shouldn't be without his forever home so if you want to give him the love and attention that he truly deserves please feel free to reach out! And if not you then maybe share to a friend that you think he'd be perfect for! A meet and greet can be arranged too! Kennel trained. UTD on shots. Great with other dogs. Has been amazing with everyone he's met and that includes children. Hasn't been tested with cats. Neutered and Microchipped.

Story
Well now I am here to say that I would love to be your new best friend. I am Pinto, a young and healthy boy about one years old. I’m an athlete, my foster dad says, a runner! We run 5-8 miles at an 8 mile spend when the weather is right. My other hobbies include playing fetch, hanging in the yard with my foster family, but most of all I really love to snuggle and be loved, because I was deserted ,with my brother Hoover as a small helpless pup,I am a little insecure and need some extra love and affection. I for sure will return all your love and more. Will you please give me a chance to come home with you and be your forever loving companion, love Pinto ?

Story
Hello my name is Honey! Honey is a yellow lab/beagle mix. She's around 3 or 5 years old. Honey came from a puppy mill and is blind in one eye. A few years ago an older couple adopted her, loved her and gave her a wonderful life. Over time the couple had to go into assisted living and it didn't allow pets. So they had to find Honey a new home. Thats where we came in. We. adopted honey from the older couple. She's been such a sweet dog. She's fantastic with kids. She doesn't do to well with other dogs. She loves to snuggle and have her ears scratched. But since we've had our third child we haven't been able to give Honey the love and attention she needs and wants. She deserves to be with someone who can give her their full attention. She loves to go on walks, play fetch and lay on the couch with you while you watch a show.
