Demi - apx 3-4 years apx 7.5 pounds, as you can see her from her older pics, she has gained weight and is looking very healthy. Demi the cat dog. Demi was rescued from very very bad hoarding situation where she was confiscated for cruelty , with her babies, in a cement outdoor shelter , all her babies died within the first 24 hours. Demi is a sad case but her fosters have never given up on her. We have had Demi since February. She still does not “need “ or ask for human attention but likes to follow you around, be a part of the family, she will sit next to you and she LoVeS her foster fursiblings. She will not walk on leash and harness still and needs a fenced yard but does have good potty manners, taking in mind her Foster is retired and home all day so she gets to go in and out several times a day. She is very quiet and demure but has a silly side. She still will not let her fosters pick her up and will run from them, you have to kind of corner her to pick her up and she freezes. but she never ever bites and is never aggressive. Demi was basically feral when we got her in and her strides are slow going but non the less, she is indeed making them. We are hoping to find her the perfect home that will just let Demi be Demi and come around in her own time.

Transport available to Buffalo NY and Ontario Canada for an additional fee. Tic Tac is a gorgeous boy. Apx 1.5 - 2 years young and 10 pounds. He is a beautiful color. TicTac came from a terrible hoarding case in Caldwell county with over 100 dogs. Rescues all over the state chipped in to assist placing these dogs. We took in four dogs from this tragic situation. Ticky is an odd duck, but really who can blame him, his life before coming to us had to be horrible, he was neglected, starving, probably always having to be fighting for his life, never a safe place to sleep or eat, never a real home , not ever learning to trust humans, not ever getting the love he so deserves. Ticky has a way to go , but we are confident he will be a shining star and given some love, time and patience, he will certainly be your baby boy, stealing your heart and your covers. Ticky is not aggressive, he is just very shy. He will growl a bit when he is scared but never acts on it, he will not bite. We dis his bath and nails and vaccines no issue. We got him into the vets and he was such a good boy. He is just weary of people and a bit standoffish. We do have to corner him to pick him up he does not just willingly come running over to you for attention, but we are working with him every single day. He does actually like little pets on the head once he is comfortable with you and knows you and once you actually pick him up, you can tell he, he greatly enjoys the attention and even gives little kisses, He is not good at walking on leash and harness so he will need a fenced in yard or penned area to go potty in. Ticky is young and loving and has a big heart. He really wants love and attention, he is just terrified of his own shadow. Ticky is quiet, soulful and has a gentle demeanor about him. He is great with dogs and cats , we ask no small hyper children. He needs a home with an open mind and open heart so he can start to heal.

He has good potty manners, he loves sweaters, he walks on leash, and gives good cuddles. Fergus had a dental and had all but four teeth taken out. He does have mild grade 1 MPLS ( luxating patella ) in his rear limbs so sometimes he has a little limp or favors his rear right leg a little but it is very mild. Fergus is okay with other dogs but is not a fan of puppies or rambunctious dogs or young kids. Fergus was rescued from a local shelter. He was neutered young so he had to have had a family once upon a time. No chip or tags and no one came for him. Fergus is wanting his forever family, he is a perfect lap baby and just wants to be doted upon and loved like a little prince. He really likes naps, and lots of blankets :) (The pics were taken before the dental, so there is no more cute snaggle tooth)

Transport available to Buffalo NY and Ontario Canada for an additional fee. Peaches is apx 2 years young and 12 pounds. Short and stocky. She was rescued from a hoarding situation and under socialized. Peaches has stranger danger and is really scared of new people and places. She did try and nip the 1st day she was here, but after about 48 hours she was an entire different dog. She loves life, adores people once she gets to know them, loves cuddles and kisses from her humans, and is really good with all other animals. She will need time to decompress in a new environment. When she first got here she go herself in a corner and was growling and shaking, she was just so scared. She did well at the vets and although not overjoyed to be there, she did not try to bite anyone and she did not growl, just shook and was nervous. She looks to her human for confidence and reassurance. She bonds very very quickly with her persons. She is NOT an aggressive dog but she is an under socialized and nervous dog so she needs some work, love, confidence building and socializing. A fenced yard would be preferred, if not than a penned in area where she can go potty on leash and harness and in a pen. She is not going to walk on leash and harness day one, but once she gets used to you, she will follow you anywhere and walks very well on a leash and harness with her person. She needs a kind family, preferably with experience in rescue dogs. She is a gem, just needs a little polishing :) *NO CHILDREN

She is playful and prancy, a gentle player, does little dances, and is always happy to see you. She is also very loving and cuddly once she gets to know you but it does take a day or two for her to warm up to new humans to where she wants to cuddle you and give you kisses, she bonds quickly but needs a day to decompress. She was nippy the first day, she does the air nip, this is out of fear, Marla is NOT an aggressive dog. She also tried to nip when we tried to do her nails. She is a wonderful dog and just needs some time, patience, reassurance and love.
