Story
Duke is around 6 years old. He ran around the street where my grandmothers house is and we all thought the family who lived in the house across the street had adopted him, the kids played with him all day and he was even let in and slept in the house. The family had ended up moving away and left him to die. Duke has abandonment issues and has a hard time trusting people. He had started getting better and warming up to people faster than ever, although in the summer of 2023 we had a pool built and the men who were building it threw rocks at him which traumatized him all over again. No one in my immediate family would ever say he’s an aggressive dog, but he has bitten a few people in the past. He is the sweetest dog once he warms up to you but because of where we live and how many people come to our house we just can’t keep him anymore. Duke needs a strong owner that has experience with his type and someone to work with him to get him out of his shell.

Story
Sadly this is my last option, I’m looking to re-home my 2 year old male mix breed. He is very loving and has a lot of energy. He is quick to pick up on training and has been neutered and is up to date on his vaccines. I don’t have the kind of space I think he needs to enjoy life and am looking for a new home he’ll love

Story
We adopted Sokka from the City of Lubbock Animal Shelter after seeing a Facebook post about his case. Sokka is very sweet boy. He's super energetic and playful, but not destructive in any way. We've never once had any issues with biting but he did like chewing some shoes up for awhile there! Sokka is deaf but we've been doing our best to teach him some sign language but for the most part he can sit, stay, shake your hand, wait for his food, and notify you that he has to use the bathroom. I think a new home for him would ideally have a family with someone he can be around or with an area he can wander. He loves running around outside and is a very playful and loving pet. He loves pets, especially on his belly. He absolutely loves kids and has gotten along with our cats very well.

Story
We adopted from local animal shelter. Very energetic and loves to play but right now our household is too busy to meet his energy needs. He is very sweet and does follow simple commands. We did do a DNA test on him when we first acquired him so he is primarily a Staffordshire terrier mixed with pyrenees/lab/husky. Apollo is 2 years old has one green eye and one blue eye. He has had his dew claws removed. Willing to give crate and mats to the new owners along with any dog food we may have.

Story
Pepper is a 7 months old and a lab/lab mix. She is super sweet and high energy! She gets along great with other dogs and loves to play with cats (whether they like it or not, but she isn't aggressive at all). She is wonderful and patient with children too. I'm doing my best to potty and crate train her, but someone with more experience in positive reinforcement training a small puppy would be better for her. She was very likely abused by the person who dumped her and needs patience and kindness and a lot of attention/play time. She'll come with a food bin (full of food!), a bowl, a crate with a bed, a harness, collar, two tethers (one for inside like at a desk and one for outside in the yard), and some toys. She is spayed and completely up to date on all shots and vaccines. I have access to all of her medical records to give to her new family. Fee is for vetting purposes.
