She enjoys running around the backyard with the other dogs. Her favorite thing to do is chew on her toy and then play a little tug-o-war with whoever will join in the fun. After wearing herself out playing she loves to take a nap on your lap. She sleeps in her kennel at night and is fully housetrained. She is an active pup and is constantly on the go most of the day but she’s all the fun things about a young dog so don’t miss out! Oh, and this sweet girl loves belly rubs! She loves a good game of chase, or tug-o-war the best! She arrived from the Henderson TX animals center when she was “found” all alone and surrendered to the shelter. She is a larger girl so we think that is the reason she hasn’t been adopted yet because honestly she’s the best girl and we can’t say anything bad about her. She is housetrained and crate trained. She sleeps in her crate at night without a peep but honestly once adopted she would make a great snuggle buddy. This gorgeous golden girl is going to be a fabulous addition to a forever home. She is approx 4 years old, 50 lbs, housetrained and crate trained. We do not know a whole lot about her history but what we have learned so far is Honeybee needs a home with NO CATS. Honeybee adores her foster mom and follows her around everywhere so we think she would do best in a home as an only dog so she could truly relax and be the best girl she can be. Capone is a fully vetted, Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix. He recently completed treatment for heartworms, and received the "all clear" from the vet. Capone is very friendly with people, and has done well with all dogs we have introduced home to, since joining our rescue, though he has had no exposure to cats.
