Story
We found Henny stray in our neighborhood. After 4 days we made contact with her owner who let us know they could not afford to take her back, then they stopped communication. She is a very sweet, affectionate girl. She is eager to please & has learned a few commands very quickly. She loves walks and is learning to fetch. We haven't had the opportunity to see how she is with other animals, although her previous owner stated that a goat and cat had been killed on their property, and they thought she was to blame. We have not seen any indication of this, and while on leashed walks she hasn't been reactive to other dogs. She has not shown any possessiveness with food or toys. She is comfortable being alone for a few hours a day so far in our screened in porch. She may be clever at finding her way out of a yard. At first, she was very vocal with whining but as she has become more confident, she has quieted down a lot. Can't overstate how cuddly she is. maybe german shorthair pointer mix?

Story
This chocolate chip brownie boy is as sweet as his name. He was a stray living in the country for quite some time, and found some good Samaritan's to keep him fed. After knocking up a couple, pretty ladies and risking his life on the busy roads, we brought this boy in so he could get the care he needs. He's slowly learning how to be a dog again! He gets along with females and low energy males. He is great with all humans that he's met. This kid loves a good sunbath, but mostly Brownie enjoys time inside sleeping, considering his life was mostly outdoors. Which is also beneficial so he can heal from Heartworms! He's currently in foster receiving fast kill heartworm treatment, and will need a home soon to finish healing his heart, both physically and emotionally.

Story
Sweet Hudson. Given up by his family that had him his whole life, this guy is looking for a fresh start. He doesn't feel like getting picked on by kids but man does this dog have patience. He can be around kids, dogs, and even cats. Although, after a lifetime of wrongdoing, he really just wants his one loyal human. He's more of a coexisting dog but he enjoys play with his spunky dog friends too! He loves water, short walks, and long naps! Ultimately, he just wants to cuddle on a couch for a Netflix & chill. A home that's calm & slow would definitely suit him. He doesn't pull on the leash. Crate trained. And low energy! Could you ask for a better dog?

Story
Peppa is super short & squatty bully mix. She weighs a solid 50 lbs but stands less than 2 feet tall. Peppa is a sweet and loyal girl, who will be super loving to her future owners. She loves affection and treats, and she snorts like a pig when you scratch under her chin. Peppa can coexist with happy-go-lucky dogs. Her bestie at our rescue is her extra large Cane Corso! Shes ready to be the star of the show and she deserves nothing less. Peppa is UTD on everything, fixed, and READY to be in a real home. Will you give this sweet and tough girl a chance?
