Story
Drake is a friendly, loving, cuddling, high-energy dog who loves to play fetch and splash in water! He’s great off a leash and can catch balls out of mid air. He is curious outside, but will come when called (even if he trots out the front door). We took him to dog parks, Yard Bar, on hiking trails, Zilker and have a daily ball-launcher fetch routine! If you’re looking for a dog to go exploring with who will plop his head in your lap in the evening then Drake is your dog! Sadly, I just got divorced so I feel guilty about how little I get to take him out, and my five young kids aren’t good about reading his body language and would very rarely get nipped at if they were jumping on top of him (though he’s typically very patient). If you adopt him, I can throw in a large steel crate toys and gear to play fetch with!

Jack Russell Terrier

Round Rock, TX
Size
(when grown) Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Wattson was a stray that ate scraps at my grandma's house in Mexico. Eventually she had a litter behind her house and her pups started to die. I rescued her and her last pup and brought them home. Wattson is now thriving and she loves to run and chase/bark at squirrels and wild bunnies. She will require a large yard to spend energy in because walks are not quite her enough for her. Wattson is good with other dogs and children, but due to her prey drive may not do well with cats. Although she loves to run, Wattson also loves to be around her person. She will tag along just about anywhere and beg for pets. She also potty trained very quickly but when she is afraid (think thunderstorms, or chasing her if she got out) she is prone to accidents. She does well in a crate overnight though. One of Wattson's favorite things is to be carried, she will hang on to you as long as you are willing to let her. She is not keen of car rides though so lots of love is needed when transported.

Story
Sir William [note the regal pose, legs crossed] is 7.5 years of pure fun and sweetness. i am sure most pet owners think and say something similar so you would have to meet him to see how different this guy is. so sweet and lovable; great with kids. i got him from a rescue at about age 3 . he is fully housebroken [not an accident of any kind ever] since I have had him. he is particularly gentle with kids. my 11 year old thinks he is a gumby and he let's her do it all:) unfortunately, my new job requires constant travel and i feel bad; it is not fair to him. just meet him and he will do all the "talking". thank you for reading this.

Story
I adopted Pearl a few months ago from a shelter. Since then my life has gotten very complicated and I am now in a small apartment and can no longer afford to keep her. She’s so sweet, would be great with someone who has space for her to run and or time to exercise her more frequently.

Great Pyrenees

Female, Young
Round Rock, TX
Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Needs special attention, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Lucy was a rescue. She is part Great Pyrenees, but do not know the other breed. She was born in January 2024 and we adopted her in March 2024. Currently 8 Months old. She is very sweet and loving to our family, however, she has severe anxiety. She is not aggressive, and has not bitten or nipped - but she can get over-excited or have spontaneous behavior, which is causing an issue with two very young children getting knocked over or stepped on. She has a prescription for an anti-anxiety medication, and needs someone who will have the time to help her rehabilitate and get her anxiety under control. She is currently afraid of going on walks in the street or sidewalk, but will run and play in our fenced backyard. She is kennel trained, potty trained, and knows basic commands. Under guidance from our Vet, with her medication and care Lucy would be a kind and caring addition to your household but we do not currently have the time or ability to care for her the way she deserves.
