Story
Nebo’s my name, playing is my game! I live with lots of other dogs and I love to play with whoever will play with me. I am good at keeping up with the big kids or being less rough for the little ones. I am a very high energy guy so I can wear out a lot of my buddies and still have energy leftover. I will chase cats if they want but most of them don't want to be bothered by me. My favorite is being with people. I have a want-to-please personality. I love it when my foster parents take me to PetsMart and I get attention there. I love people of all sizes and ages but my rescue friends say I'm too active for some people. I have good house manners and can even be in a crate if I have to be. I’m a Lab / Cattle Dog mix, weigh about 55 pounds, and my birthday is 3/8/14. Will you be my forever playmate?Nebo is up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, neutered and on heart worm and flea/tick preventatives. Story
Hi, I’m Princess... I was seized from Collin County as an animal cruelty case with demodex mange that was so bad I had no fur. I’d been thrown out in the back yard and just left until I was skin and bones. My fur has grown back in thanks to my angels and All Heart Veterinary Clinic and Hillcrest. I’m a shepherd mix, weigh about 30 pounds and my approximate date of birth is 2/17/15. I’m timid when I meet new people. I have great house manners and play well with others although the best fit for me would probably be in a home as an only dog. I do bark for attention and am a little neurotic so I’m going to need a special person to love me and work with me. My world has been scary but I know now there are good people out there. I’m still very young, have a long life ahead of me and I especially have a lot of love to give! Will you be my next angel? Princess is up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, spayed and on heart worm and flea/tick preventatives. The first step in our adoption process for this sweet, timid little girl is to submit your application which is available online at hillcrestanimalrescue.org. Once you are there, click on ADOPT and scroll down to our Application.

Story
Archer came to our rescue after being picked up as a stray. He doesn’t know his front ankles aren’t ‘normal’ as he gets around just fine. This condition is Angular Limb Disorder and attempting surgeries to resolve could make his situation worse. While he wouldn’t be a great running companion he still loves going for walks and short jogs. Long or strenuous walks could make him sore, so his family would want to avoid that as he would go if asked. This handsome boy is a happy, outgoing, gentle soul. He loves humans of all sizes and ages. Being with his humans and getting attention is his very favorite thing. He lives with lots of other dogs and is fine with everyone unless they are nasty to him; he won’t be bullied by anyone. He is good around the cats in his foster home who are very dog savvy. Archer has excellent house manners and is crate trained. He is engaged with his humans and treat motivated so would do well with training. He already has great recall and will sit for treats. He loves going for rides and would be a great go-everywhere dog. Archer is fully vetted – current vaccines, neutered, microchipped, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Story
Yellow labDougie is a lovely large male dog. He’s an older adult but still has plenty of energy. He is very gentle with kids and humans and gets along with most dogs but has not been around cats. He tends to have the calming influence of a Lab on a household. He should not be put into a household with another alpha male dog. He is protective of his family and home and would be great for a family looking for a dog for safety reasons. Dougie will make a fantastic dog for any family. He is housetrained and fully vetted, neutered, microchipped, and is on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. His vet records will be turned over to his adoptive parent(s). He is ready to find his forever home!

Moxie is a playful girl who loves being near her people or outside playing with her canine brothers and sisters. Moxie plays well with other dogs and is always up for a chase around the yard or a tug of war. She is house and crate trained and gladly goes in her crate for meals and treats.Moxie is vocal but not excessive; more of a talker. She is good about letting you know when she is ready to go out or come back inside.Moxie is always close to her foster Dad, at his feet when he is working at his desk, cuddling on the couch, or curled up tight and as close as possible when it is time for bed.Moxie is just an all-around sweetheart, full of love and a spring in her step. She is fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.
