Story
It's hard to imagine that sweet-as-can-be Ruthie was found on the streets, very pregnant and with a bullet wound to her face. Now that Ruthie has raised her ten puppies and sent them all off to wonderful forever homes and that Ruthie herself has healed, it is her turn to find her very own happily ever after. In short, Ruthie is a 5-year-old, 55-pound "puppy". Between her adorable puppy dog eyes and her extremely playful personality, Ruthie has a true zest for her newfound life. This spunky lady will keep you laughing as she splashes in a doggie pool or does zoomies around the yard. Ruthie brings a lot of energy to the table and would love an active family that can take her on adventures. Being cooped up all day is not the life for this athletic lady! She also likes to keep her mind sharp with lots of puzzles. After playtime, Ruthie loves to curl up on a soft bed-you'll get a kick out of how she even watches TV with her humans! Ruthie is an all around good girl who is potty-trained, crate-trained, and leash-trained. She is eager for her forever humans and promises that she will reward them with a lifetime of love, laughs, and snuggles. Want to make sure Ruthie enjoys the sweet life she deserves? Smile and say "Cheez-It!" because our favorite goofy boy is ready to go home with you! Cheez-It has won over the hearts of many on social media, as he has been looking for his perfect forever home for a while. Too long, if you ask any of us. This 2.5-year-old, 65 lb, Pyrenees/Shepherd mix knows he has so much to offer some special humans. Our boarding partner describes Cheez-It as "a lot of fun! He's sure to entertain you and make you feel loved." How great does that sound? Cheez-It's ideal forever family would: - Take him on lots of walking or hiking adventures - Provide regular mental stimulation; Cheez-It is a smart boy who loves to learn new tricks (he already knows a few fun ones) - Give A+ belly rubs - Make him their one and only doggo in the home (Cheez-It is so great, he's all you need!) - Have older kids (15+), if any - Provide him with at least one super comfy dog bed - Be willing to indulge in some couch snuggles Think you could be Cheez-It's dream family? If so, fill out an adoption application! Questions? Hi! I'm Penny! I can tell we're going to be best friends. Why? Because I love everyone I meet! Looking for a lovebug, playful pup? You've come to the right place! About me: - Basics: Born 09/19/2022; 69 pounds - Training: I know my stuff! I'm a pro at "sit", "wait", "lie down", "kennel up", AND I'm learning to shake. I'm potty-trained, crate-trained, and leash-trained. I'm a fabulous car passenger! - Favorite things: Treats! Ice cubes! Belly rubs! Being held like a baby! Sunbathing! Playing! Napping! - Dogs: I can be a bit picky, but once I find my best bud, I can play with until we both crash. My favorite game is putting my head under the covers and playing hide and seek. I could be your one and only as well! - Cats: Thanks, but no thanks! - Kids: I do well with older kids--I haven't been tested with younger kiddos yet. - Why you'll fall in love: I will keep you laughing with my adorable antics and will give you endless love! Meet Ava - The Sweet, Sassy, Spunky, Energetic Tri-Pawed Wonder! Ava, born around August 15, 2023, is a Belgian Malinois/Cattle mix weighing close to 32 lbs. This energetic vibrant pup exudes joy and enthusiasm from her very core. Don't let her petite size fool you; behind those photos lies a larger-than-life personality waiting to charm you. Happiness radiates from her, and her heart is filled with love. She's incredibly sweet, playful, cuddly, and truly a remarkable puppy. Ava effortlessly captures hearts wherever she goes. Here's what you need to know about Ava: - Sweet, fun, and endlessly curious. She's always up for an adventure. - A toy enthusiast! Toys are her passion, and she adores having a variety to choose from to keep her endlessly entertained. Play all day is her motto! - She gets along well with dogs of all sizes and would love another playful paw sibling around her size (+/-) to play with daily. In her world, toys and chew bones is life! - Potty, crate, and leash trained. Eager to learn if you have treats! - Social butterfly!
