Meet Miley! Age: 6 Weight: 60lbs Good with dogs: does best with slow proper introductions Good with cats: no Good with kids: unknown but would likely be fine with respectful children Housetrained: yes Attributes: not destructive in the home, quiet, calm This middle aged brindle beauty is ready for her home! Miley is a wonderful housemate and has all the things you might be looking for in a dog. She's quiet, housetrained, and very respectful in the home. Miley loves car rides and going on long walks, so she will be requiring a home that will take her on lots of adventures! Miley has done well interacting with dogs but does best with slow proper introductions. She thinks cats are great fun to chase, so felines need not apply! We do not know how Miley does with kids, but given her temperament we think she'd do fine with respectful children. Miley loves people and really just wants to be wherever you are! She loves to spend time outside and would do best with a fenced yard. She can get overwhelmed with a lot of commotion on leash, so apartments are not a good fit for her. Miley is an all around good girl who is more than deserving of a home to call her own. So look no further than her if you're ready for your new best friend! Miley is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting her, please fill out an application on our website and we will get it to her foster family!

Story
Meet Bubba! Age: 4 Weight: 68lbs Bubba looks like the bad-boy type, but this chunk of hunk with smoldering eyes is really a loyal, mellow guy who adores his stuffy and squeaky toys. Sometimes he loves his toys so much, they even go outside for potty breaks with him! Bubba is definitely a lover, and he'll bury his chonky head into your arms or snuggle up against you on the couch. Bubba also has some darn good manners. He is easy to train, and he knows all the basic commands. Bubba does like to play a few times a day. Fetch is his favorite, but he's also quite fond of chasing and chomping at the water from a hose on warm days. After a little playtime, Bubba finds a comfy spot and will rest quietly. Bubba does enjoy playing with other dogs, but we require any existing dog(s) to meet Bubba at the shelter before adoption to be sure all dogs are happy with their new friends. Bubba does NOT do well with cats, so a home without cats is also a requirement. Bubba is currently with an amazing foster family where he is learning to feel comfortable in a crate, enjoys practicing all his obedience skills, and soaks up lots of love. This beefcake softie would love for you to fill out an application online and then contact the shelter to schedule a time to meet him!

Story
Meet Buttercup! Age: 2 Weight: 55lbs Good with dogs: Yes, but can play a little rough for some dogs, meet and greet required. Good with cats: unknown but not likely Good with kids: Needs an adult-only home Housetrained: Keeps a clean kennel Crate trained: yes Buttercup is a crazy, fun wildflower whose energetic happiness matches her name perfectly. She is social and loves to play with other dogs. She does have a rough playstyle and doesn't always understand her size, a meet and greet is required for any dogs in the home. We're not sure how she does with cats, but we'd venture to say she thinks they are tasty! Buttercup can be a little nervous of new people, more specifically men. She is also fearful of kids, so an adult-only home is required for her. Once she warms up to new adults, she wants to be your best friend! Buttercup spent some time in a home for a weekend and was the perfect house-guest! She was housetrained, crate trained, and got along with all of the other dogs. She is on the higher energy side, so she is going to do best with an owner who can get her energy out. She walks great on a leash, and rides well in the car, so she is the perfect dog to take on all your adventures! Buttercup has been dreaming of her family since February. So if you've been dreaming of a dog and Buttercup checks your boxes, then come meet this fantastic girl today!
