Story
Meet Miley! Age: 6 Weight: 60lbs Good with dogs: does best with slow proper introductions Good with cats: no Good with kids: unknown but would likely be fine with respectful children Housetrained: yes Attributes: not destructive in the home, quiet, calm This middle aged brindle beauty is ready for her home! Miley is a wonderful housemate and has all the things you might be looking for in a dog. She's quiet, housetrained, and very respectful in the home. Miley loves car rides and going on long walks, so she will be requiring a home that will take her on lots of adventures! Miley has done well interacting with dogs but does best with slow proper introductions. She thinks cats are great fun to chase, so felines need not apply! We do not know how Miley does with kids, but given her temperament we think she'd do fine with respectful children. Miley loves people and really just wants to be wherever you are! She loves to spend time outside and would do best with a fenced yard. She can get overwhelmed with a lot of commotion on leash, so apartments are not a good fit for her. Miley is an all around good girl who is more than deserving of a home to call her own. So look no further than her if you're ready for your new best friend! Miley is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting her, please fill out an application on our website and we will get it to her foster family!

Bubba has put his bachelor days in the past and is ready to settle down with his family. He's housetrained, crate trained, and very respectful in the home. He LOVES his toys and will be requiring a home that can make sure his toy bin is always full! When it comes to other animals, Bubba prefers to keep his people all to himself. We're not sure how he would do with kids, but he meets every adult with a smile on his face! Bubba has a wonderful energy level, he loves to play but requires multiple naps in his day. Meet Slate! Age: 9 months Weight: 63lbs Good with dogs: Yes Good with cats: Unknown Good with kids: Very friendly, but would do best in a home without young kids Housetrained: Working on it! Attributes: Application only This boy has the potential to be the dog of someone's dreams! He is super smart, loves to train, does great with other dogs and come on, have you seen that handsome face?! Slate already has a bunch of training under his belt, he knows all of his basic commands and then some. He rides great in the car and walks well on a leash, so he'll be requiring a home that will take him on all their adventures! Since Slate is so smart, he is going to do best with an owner who can keep up with his fast brain and continue his training. He's very friendly to just about anyone he meets, he's just learning what to do with all that energy! Although Slate is a social guy, he doesn't enjoy being over handled or retrained. Because of this, he will do best in a home without young kids. This boy is truly a great dog, he just needs a strong owner who can set boundaries to set him up for success. If this sounds like the dog you've been dreaming of, fill out an application today! *Slate is application only, meaning all applications must be approved by our trainers in order to adopt. Charlie does have some special dietary needs for his skin which we are more than happy to discuss with any potential adopters. Charlie is the perfect dog for just about any single pet home. Story
Meet Oreo Cookie, his transformation is nothing short of a miracle. Cookie lived for 2 1/2 years in a crate completely neglected and living in his own urine and feces. When he was brought to the rescue, we immediately knew his condition was far beyond anything that we could deal with here so we rushed him off to the emergency care hospital. This was the worst case of neglect that we had ever seen. He was immediately sedated and the team worked on him for 6 hours. They removed 4 pounds of crusted urine and feces from his little body. When he woke up, he bit bit everyone in sight! When we picked him up the next morning, we didn't even recognize him! His little tail was wagging as they told us to be very cautious but we knew there was hope! We brought him home to let him settle into his new environment. He had never had freedom and all he knew about humans was what they had done to him in the past. It took about 2 weeks for his playful wonderful personality to emerge and we knew he was going to be just fine! He is now the most loveable playful little guy that you will ever meet! He has been neutered and vaccinated. He is also heart worm negative and microchipped. We have before pics and videos upon request but they are too graphic to post here. "Cookie" is now ready for his own forever family, could that be you? ADOPTION FEE $650
