Please note, the majority of our rescues are special needs which means it has to be a perfect fit so we work closely with potential adopters to evaluate suitability. Special needs range from auto-immune disorders, heart disease, allergies, FIV+, FeLV+, bonded pairs and trios, and behavioral issues. Honey came to us after she was in a horrific fire. She had severe burns on her body, face, and one of her eyes. Since, she has healed both physically and emotionally and is doing very well. She loves to run around our yard and explore. She is learning not to chase cats but does have the instinct to chase small animals. Honey is very sweet and loves attention and snuggling. She is young, active, and smart. She will do very well in a home that has a lot of love to give, a big yard to play in, and a human to snuggle with.

Story
Hi there! I am the newest member at the ranch! I am about 1.5 years old. I do have ALOT of puppy energy left so I am looking for someone who can keep me busy! I love playing with my new friends here. I do get along with other dogs who aren't too bossy and farm animals. Cats?...Meh! I think I'd like to chase those lil' rascals a bit more then you'd like! Since I have so much energy I need to find a friend who will exercise with me regularly...hiking anyone? or have a large fenced property that I can run, run, run in! I am ready to go home! I just want to find someone who will be patient with me, continue teaching me how to be what I hear is called a 'Good Boy' and love me forever! Is that you? Thanks for stoppin in and checkin me out - maybe I'll hear from you? Fingers...er, PAWS crossed....See ya later tater. Love Wylie!

Story
We have welcomed 'Quinn' to the Heart in Hand Family! We believe he is a Border Collie/Heeler Mix, about 2/3 years old. In such a short time, he has shown us what a little gentlemen he is! Friendly with everyone, submissive with other dogs, as he just wants to play! Seems ok around cats - he ignores them for the most part - unless they hiss and run then its 'tag your it' haha! He also seems good around other farm animals - doesn't pay attention to chickens or goats! He only wants to play with his doggies friends and be with a person. We need to work on leash training and basic commands which we started yesterday! He is very bright and has already started to get the gist of what we are asking from him! Just a wonderful lil' spirit! We just know he is going make such a wonderful addition to his new family! Quinn will be UTD on vacinations, microchipped and neutered before adoption! https://www.heartinhandcrittersrescue.com If you are interested in meeting this sweet boy, please fill out our online adoption application: https://form.jotform.com/83004164874153

Story
Rill is an active senior who loves walks and exploring! She also loves to chill and snuggle up on her bed in her crate where she feels safe! She is about 8 years young now but still has her spunk and spirit! Rill is a Redtick Coonhound. We had actually adopted her out 6 years ago when she was 2 and her name back then was "Peanut" as life does have unexpected challenges, she was re-surrendered back to us to look for another home. We are hopeful that there is a special person out there that can give this ol' gal a loving home for the rest of her days. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, HW negative, and micro-chipped. Healthy as can be! If you would like to meet Rill please fill out our online adoption application: https://form.jotform.com/83004164874153 Located in Stewart TN Adoption Fee $50 Please consider donating to help Rill and other homeless dogs like her start a new life. https://www.heartinhandcrittersrescue.com
