Story
Hello! My name is Tate! I was found alone in the woods by my current owners. I’m anywhere between 8 and 10 months old. I absolutely love my kongs and food puzzles. I love giving puppy hugs and exploring. I need lots of room to run and play. I know how to sit, stay, shake, lay down and I do well on a leash already. Im house trained and respond when you tell me to leave things alone. I’m good with other dogs and am so full of love to share with anyone I meet!

Story
Meet Elsa! She just turned 3 in July. Due to myself having dealt with recurring health issues in the last year, I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease that has affected my day to day life and also financial stability. I am looking to rehome my dog because I am struggling to care for her physically and financially. She has grew up with cats and children but I do think she would be better suited in an all adult home and no dogs unless you are able to continue her training as we were before all of this. She is completely house broken and uses bells all a doorknob to signal when she needs out. She does deal with skin allergies so be prepared for frequent vet visits if you can’t control it with over the counter solutions.

Meet Duke! He is a very handsome, super playful guy who loves to be outside with his family. Duke is a quick learner and will thrive in a home dedicated to helping him continue his training with positive reinforcement and plenty of exercise. He would love a doggie sibling or weekly daycare/play dates to keep him from getting bored. Most of all he just wants to be with his family. He is house trained and crate trained. Duke loves car rides, neighborhood walks, and relaxing with his people on the couch. Duke does well with other dogs, when introduced properly. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and preventatives. If you would like to meet this handsome guy and make him part of your family, please complete an application at https://forrescue.net/dog-application/ . Story
My name is Tucker. I am a big, lovable, and goofy puppy. I love nothing more than to get love and cuddles from my human. I also love to play outside. I am crate trained and almost completely potty trained.I would do well in a home with another dog my size. Because I am a big puppy, I wouldn’t be a good fit in a household with small children. Although I love my foster home, I can’t wait to find my furever home. I am neutered, up to date on vaccines and heartworm prevention. If you would like to meet this precious guy and make him part of your family, please complete an application at https://forrescue.net/dog-application/ Tucker is located in North Alabama with transport available to your area. Friends of Rescue requires a virtual home visit and vet reference prior to all adoptions. All Friends of Rescue animals are indoor family members. Story
Carlton is ready to find his forever person. This sweet pup (12 - 13 years old) was adopted in 2021 by a loving man who is now, unfortunately, physically unable to care for him properly. They miss each other deeply. Carlton is the literal definition of a couch potato. His only purpose is to admire his human, play tug of war, and chase cats (no cats please). Carlton is great with people and other dogs. He does have some trepidation about my tiny seniors, but gives them the right of way in an apparent show of respect. He is neutered and UTD, house broken, and dog gone adorable. In November he had a needle aspiration biopsy for a lump on his chest. It was determined that it was a lipoma (fatty benign tumor). He's absolutely fine. Did I mention he's a couch potato? If you would like to give this sweet senior boy a loving home for his golden years, please fill out our application: https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to his new furever family.
