He's a sweet little boy that needs a family who will help boost his confidence. We think he's around 2 years old and he is healthy and ready to travel now. He seems to be afraid of men so a home with females or smaller quiet males would be best for him and another friendly dog would also help him feel more comfortable. This week guy was left locked in a cage for a couple of months. Since he's been in rescue, he is very affectionate and playful. Loves dogs, and kids but not a cat guy. We think he's about three years old and he weighs 40 pounds. Would love to have someone to run and play tug with. He would love a fun active family. Meet our local celebrity, Dora the Explorer! Dora is around 3 years old and she weighs around 58 lbs. Dora was spotted for over 1 year traveling a wide area and numerous concerned citizens became concerned that Dora had lost her way and her family. A group of volunteers made it their mission to rescue Dora. After being caught it was evident that at some point she had a family that loved her because she knew many commands and was proving to be a very intelligent girl. Dora is very playful. She bonds to her humans very quickly and would just love to be a couch potato when she is not out in the yard entertaining herself or having fun playing fetch. Her foster family has several older dogs and Dora seems fine with them, however, Dora would do great as well, as a single dog family because she loves her people! Any questions about her can be answered by her foster mom and we can put you in touch with her. Dora is ready to travel when the perfect home is found for her. This girl is 26 pounds of energy and love. She had to be captured by the local animal control officer and was prettified. She was lunging and growling and very upset. But something in her eye just pleaded for me to help her. So I picked her up from the shelter and brought her home where George (our cat) helped me show her that humans and other animals are good. George helped her calm down and let her guard down and after about an hour she was giving me lots of kisses. She is hilarious and is definitely a lover. She may need a couple of minutes to feel safe, but once she does, she is glued to you. She is extremely smart, loves to go for rides, walks and hikes or any adventure (we went kayaking) She prefers not to be left alone as she does have some separation anxiety.
