Story
Meet one of the Christmas Cookies litter! Sweet mama -- Cookie -- came from a dire situation, where her life was in jeopardy. Animal control stepped in and worked to find a rescue to save her. She and her 7 babies are with us now, happy, healthy and loved. We're so glad we could get her out of that horrible place -- and now it is time to find loving forever homes for her and all of her babies. She is such a sweet, grateful girl. The puppies' birthday is estimated to be November 6, 2025 - so they will be 8 weeks old ready for forever homes January 1st. They currently all weigh right about 3-4 lbs and based on mama's size and their size now, we expect they will be 25-30 lbs adult dogs -- but that could be wrong since we have no idea who daddy is. We think mama is a small shepherd or possibly feist mix - you can look at her picture and see what you think If you think you might want to give this sweet pup a home, please email jojosdogrescue@gmail.com and we will send you an application, or visit our website: www.jojosdoghouse.com and download one. Adoption fee is $250, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, parasite treatment, and microchip with lifetime registration. Please visit our Facebook page JoJo's DogHouse (non-profit) to learn more about us and see many of the dogs we have rescued. We hope you'll join JoJo's family of adopters!

Story
Zelda was a surrender to our family because her previous one wasn’t willing to take care of her bladder stones and was opting to euthanize her. She has been such a fun dog to have in our home and is so incredibly loving and goofy. We had planned on keeping her however she and our senior female dog do not get along and it’s better for Zelda to be in a home without other dogs. She and our cat are great together and she did great with her previous owners children and they did have two puppies (maybe 8-12 weeks old). She was great with their children as well. She has been very well maintained on a urinary diet and in the year we’ve had her she hasn’t had any signs of bladder stones. This girl just needs a family where she’s the only doggo to thrive!

Story
Legacy is a 5 year old purebred Blueheeler. I acquired her as a puppy back in 2020 when my son left for bootcamp. I got her from my cousin in North Carolina, who has mom and dad. She is 35 pounds. 1 patch over her right eye. She loves to run and play. She would be great in a home with land or a fenced in yard. She is very protective. She will bark at anyone who knocks on the front door. She will cuddle with you on the couch and will sleep right next to you! Ellie is also a 5 year old purebred blueheeler. She has 2 patches over her eyes. She is deaf and realizes on Legacy to be her ears. She startles easily but has never been aggressive. She is the most loving dog! She loves to cuddle and get right up on you to sleep! She loves to be close!

We aren't sure what I'm mixed with, wouldn't it be cool to do a DNA test?! 3. I am just a baby so I don't know anything but I do know that I'm smart and will learn anything you can teach me. 4. Being so young, I'll get along with anyone. If you have kids, cats, dogs, chickens, horses, or geckos, we will be best friends with proper training. 5. Story
IDGSR Welcomes KEVIN into the safety of the rescue!! THIS DOG IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE & AVAILABLE FOR TRANSPORT ************** Well howdy, folks! Name’s Kevin, and I reckon I might just be the smallest German Shepherd this side of Nashville, Tennessee… trapped in a Chihuahua/Terrier body. Don’t let my size fool ya—what I lack in height, I make up for in heart, grit, and a whole lotta personality. Quick Facts: Age - 7-months old Kids - will do fine with kids Dogs - great with other dogs Cats - probably no cats 1. At 7 months old, I’m still a young buck, full of curiosity and charm. 2. I’ve got a funny little bob-tail that wiggles faster than a tumbleweed in a windstorm, and a coat that looks straight outta the German Shepherd handbook. I’m startin’ to think I might be an undercover deputy from the Shepherd ranks—just disguised in a compact package! 3. I get along mighty fine with other dogs, and I’d fit right in whether you’re livin’ in a ranch, apartment, condo, or townhome—I’m not picky about my corral. 4. I’m still workin’ on house and crate trainin’, but I’m a quick learner if you’ve got some patience and a few treats up your sleeve. 5. I’ll need a good ol’ dose of obedience trainin’, but partner, once I learn the ropes, I’ll be your most loyal sidekick on every adventure. 6. So what do you say, cowboy (or cowgirl)? Saddle up and adopt me —the tiny sheriff with the Shepherd soul! **SERIOUS APPLICANTS ONLY! If you are not 100% ready to adopt, please wait** ************** ***IMPORTANT ADOPTION INFORMATION*** -ALL dogs are fostered in TENNESSEE unless otherwise noted -We do transport dogs to the east coast; a transport fee will apply -All dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations, heart-worm testing, monthly preventatives, & are spayed or neutered -Puppies under 6-months of age will require a SPAY/NEUTER CONTRACT, a portion of the adoption fee will be refunded upon documentation of the spay/neuter -An application must be submitted before scheduling an appointment to meet a dog -Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY -Due to the high volume of emails we receive, first priority will be given to those with submitted applications -All rescue work is done by dedicated volunteers, please be respectful of their time -Not able to adopt? Story
Meet Yuki! This gorgeous three-year old boy needs his forever home. He is 105 lbs of pure sweetness. Yuki is in a foster home and they can't say enough nice things about him. Here's what they have to say about him at their home: “He is a very sweet, loving boy, loves brushing, belly rubs, lets me clean his ears, brush his teeth, walks beautifully. If he sees one of my cats, likes to chase, but came right back to me. Listens to No & correction with collar/leash. I have him in a covered 10 x 10 kennel outside in the shade under trees, with a house in it. I walk him 3 times a day. No messes in kennel. I think he would do great inside also. We go inside the garage, for water, brushing breaks, cleaning ears &loving. He is a gentle giant! Will give Pyr Paw when he wants more pets/loving. Being a Pyrenees, he with give a shoulder hug, so brace up for it. He loves kids, grandchildren tested.” If you are interested in meeting Yuki, please email us at jojosdogrescue @gmail.com and we will send you an application, or download one from our website www.jojosdoghouse.com. Adoption fee is $250 and includes spay/neuter, up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, and parasite treatment and prevention. Thanks for choosing adoption!
