Story
Everest is a giant baby who loves cuddles, sleeping on a queen size bed and more cuddles. She is nervous around slick floors, but treats get her pretty much anywhere. She is protective around the house, yet very friendly with strangers. Loves kids and playing with her sister Dandy. She has learned a lot of commands, including sit, stay, come, crate, comida, down. She gets anxious when seeing other dogs around the house and is vocal though usually just wants to play.

Story
Maverick is an amazing and loving purebred German shepherd from Texas. He is 5 years old and is always in a great mood. He is so much fun to play with and always full of energy! He still thinks he’s a lap dog, and when he gets know you will love you with all of his heart. He is fully house trained, leash trained (still pulls a little bit), and e-collar trained (not shock collar). He has been around other dogs all of his life and children the last 3 years. He’s a great protector of the house and will make sure you know if someone is approaching. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you are interested in meeting this special boy

Meet Miley! Age: 6 Weight: 60lbs Good with dogs: does best with slow proper introductions Good with cats: no Good with kids: unknown but would likely be fine with respectful children Housetrained: yes Attributes: not destructive in the home, quiet, calm This middle aged brindle beauty is ready for her home! Miley is a wonderful housemate and has all the things you might be looking for in a dog. She's quiet, housetrained, and very respectful in the home. Miley loves car rides and going on long walks, so she will be requiring a home that will take her on lots of adventures! Miley has done well interacting with dogs but does best with slow proper introductions. She thinks cats are great fun to chase, so felines need not apply! We do not know how Miley does with kids, but given her temperament we think she'd do fine with respectful children. Miley loves people and really just wants to be wherever you are! She loves to spend time outside and would do best with a fenced yard. She can get overwhelmed with a lot of commotion on leash, so apartments are not a good fit for her. Miley is an all around good girl who is more than deserving of a home to call her own. So look no further than her if you're ready for your new best friend! Miley is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting her, please fill out an application on our website and we will get it to her foster family!

Story
Meet Bubba! Age: 4 Weight: 68lbs Bubba looks like the bad-boy type, but this chunk of hunk with smoldering eyes is really a loyal, mellow guy who adores his stuffy and squeaky toys. Sometimes he loves his toys so much, they even go outside for potty breaks with him! Bubba is definitely a lover, and he'll bury his chonky head into your arms or snuggle up against you on the couch. Bubba also has some darn good manners. He is easy to train, and he knows all the basic commands. Bubba does like to play a few times a day. Fetch is his favorite, but he's also quite fond of chasing and chomping at the water from a hose on warm days. After a little playtime, Bubba finds a comfy spot and will rest quietly. Bubba does enjoy playing with other dogs, but we require any existing dog(s) to meet Bubba at the shelter before adoption to be sure all dogs are happy with their new friends. Bubba does NOT do well with cats, so a home without cats is also a requirement. Bubba is currently with an amazing foster family where he is learning to feel comfortable in a crate, enjoys practicing all his obedience skills, and soaks up lots of love. This beefcake softie would love for you to fill out an application online and then contact the shelter to schedule a time to meet him!
