Story
Meet Susie Q! Susie Q was found after being dumped at a school and was seen going through dumpsters just to survive. Susie is just baby. We are guessing she was born at the beginning of 2024. At first with thought she was a chihuahua/doxie mix, but I think she may have some Italian Greyhound or Min Pin in her too. Whatever her mix is, she is cute and I LOVE her big ears! She weighs around 10 pounds, spayed, updated on all shots, microchipped, heartworm tested negative, and on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. This girl loves to play anywhere she is, inside or outside! She is great with people, but may play too hard for small kids. She is good with other dogs, but is not a huge fan of cats. Susie is good in the house as long as she gets plenty of potty breaks and toys to chew on! Garbage may need to be secured. Sometime she forgets she’s no longer a stray and thinks she still has to go through garbage just to eat, poor girl. The adoption fee is $250 to an approved and loving home. All vet records and her harness/leash will be given to the adopter at the time of adoption. To apply to adopt go to our website www.fureverfurkids.com *We do home checks for each pet before approving an adoption.* The application is to be completed prior to meeting the pet(s) you are interested in adopting. If they are still on the page, they are still more than likely still available. We do keep our website and Petfinder updated regularly. Once a pet is adopted from our rescue, they MUST be returned to us, if you cannot keep them. If you plan on not keeping them their whole lives, please do not apply. Thank you for looking at our rescues in need of amazing homes!

Story
Meet Pearl Jam AKA P.J.! P.J. was rescued from a hoarding situation by another rescue and we offered to help him find a home. He has been waiting for a FURever home since 10/2023 for some crazy reason. P.J. is your typical happy go lucky, sweet Beagle/Bassett mix boy! He is friendly with all people and MOST other dogs (as long as they don’t try to eat his food). He is around 2-3 years old and weighs 37 pounds. He is a cute (chunky)“low rider”! He is neutered, current on all shots, microchipped, heartworm tested negative, and current on heartworm preventative. He is crate trained, but does need outside to potty regularly until he settles in. Pearl Jam either needs to have a secure fenced in yard to play/potty in (not to live in) OR someone willing to walk him several times a day. He seems like the type that would be fine with or without another dog. He loves being near his people and will let you know when he’s done being alone too! lol Best in a home without cats, as he occasionally will chase. The adoption fee is $150 to an approved and loving home. All vet records will be given to the adopter at the time of adoption. To apply to adopt go to our website www.fureverfurkids.com *We do home checks for each pet before approving an adoption.* The application is to be completed prior to meeting the pet(s) you are interested in adopting. Story
Meet Oliver! Oliver loves to give hugs! 🤗 Oliver was surrendered because unfortunately he was being picked on by the other dogs in his family. They were afraid he would eventually be hurt or worse. He’s a very good boy with other people and pets that won’t pick on him! His birthday is 8-24-19 and he weighed 52 pounds when first brought into rescue and was too thin. Now he is a normal weight around 65 pounds, where he should be. He is neutered, updated on all shots, microchipped, heartworm tested negative, and on heartworm prevention. Oliver will NEED a fenced in yard (to play and potty, not to live in) and a dog friend that is kind to him will be a plus. Please understand the need for constant grooming upkeep with a poodle. Oliver is super playful at times and is a jumper/hugger, so no kids under 5 that he could accidentally knock over (or people with bad balance). The adoption fee is $385 to an approved and loving home. All vet records will be given to the adopter at the time of adoption. To apply to adopt go to our website www.fureverfurkids.com *We do home checks for each pet before approving an adoption.* The application is to be completed prior to meeting the pet(s) you are interested in adopting. Story
Meet Daffodil “Daffy”! This sweet/spunky girl was seen dumped out of a car on a busy road and she was weaving in and out of traffic. Thankfully she was caught a few days ago by a nice lady. The lady who caught her, actually has a broken foot and tried to take care of her, but she was struggling already taking care of her own dogs, so we offered to help. Dafffy was born approximately April 2024 and was too skinny when 1st rescued at 20 pounds. She is now a normal size at around 25 pounds and should be done growing. She is spayed, updated on all shots, microchipped, heartworm tested negative, and on heartworm/flea/tick prevention. Daffy is very much still a puppy, so she has puppy tendencies. Daffodil has that “hound nose” and she will follow it, so a fence is required for her. She LOVES playing with other dogs, so a dog friend is highly preferred. She is working on house/crate training and does well as long as she has plenty of potty breaks. Daffodil’s adoption fee is $200 to an approved and loving home. All vet records will be given to the adopter at the time of adoption. To apply to adopt go to our website www.fureverfurkids.com *We do home checks for each pet before approving an adoption.* The application is to be completed prior to meeting the pet(s) you are interested in adopting. Meet Prada Prada, her mom, and siblings were saved from a bad situation. Thankfully they are all safe and cared for in their foster home until they can find FURever homes. Prada is kennel trained at night, but is still learning her manners though since she is still a pup. She loves all people and pets. She loves playing in the sprinkler! She was born on 6-14-24 and will be small-medium in size we believe. She is spayed, current on shots, heartworm negative, and on heartworm prevention. The adoption fee is $150 to an approved and loving home. All vet records will be given to the adopter(s) at the time of adoption. Story
Meet Trigger Trigger was dumped at a friend of mines moms’ house around the beginning of August 2024. He is a very good boy and gets along well with people and other dogs. Not sure about cats as the fosters are allergic to kitties, but I would imagine he would be fine since he’s seems so sweet. He does have an old leg injury, that has healed, so he limps slightly. He is around 2 years old and around 10 pounds. Trigger is neutered, updated on all shots, and heartworm tested negative. He will need to be kept on heartworm prevention his whole life, like all dogs should. The adopt fee to cover his care and vetting is $150 to an approve and loving home. All vet records will be given to the adopter at the time of adoption.
