Story
Meet Rue — a 2-year-old shepherd/terrier mix (30-35 lbs) looking for her forever person.Rue is a velcro dog through and through. Wherever you go, she goes. She’ll curl up at your feet on the couch, sleep next to you in bed, and give the gentlest little kisses on your face. When she’s relaxed, she’s pure sweetness. She’s also playful and loves to sprint in the yard, but she’s flexible — happy with daily walks too. Active families OR retirees welcome. The basics: spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, house-trained, crate-trained. Knows “sit” and patiently waits for her food. Great with kids and strangers (just jumps in excitement when guests arrive — happy energy, not aggression). Why rehoming: Rue doesn’t share well with other dogs around food. She needs to be the only pet to truly relax and thrive. She’s safe with humans always — including while eating. She just needs one home, one family, and all the love she has to give in return.

Story
I recently rescued Maxine from a shelter in GA. I knew when I saw her photo I had to save her. She is incredibly sweet and gentle, she seems to be comfortable with everyone she meets. She loves being with you and if she gets an occasional belly rub, even better! She is approximately eight years old and still quite agile for her age. She enjoys her three walks a day, but has been known to take a quick break in the grass. She is housebroken and crate-trained and a great watch dog. She also rides well in the car, just content laying on the backseat. She is such a precious soul that didn't deserve to live her life in a shelter. I am hoping to find a forever home soon, so she can share her amazing self with someone else.

Story
My spouse rescued Jazz from a shelter in SC. Jazz is a lab-mix who is fun, interactive and vocal. She will bark when she needs to use the restroom. She is a great guard dog. somewhat quirky, upbeat energy. Jazz is potty trained, crate-trained, can follow firm and basic commands. Jazz is up to date on all vaccines and is microchipped. none. Jazz is up to date on all vaccines, spayed and is microchipped. Jazz would thrive in a home with a yard [or daily walks]. She does get jealous when affection is shown to our oldest baby/toddler. So she will probably do better with older kids. Jazz enjoys playing in the backyard, going for walks and playing with any toys--not picky. We are pregnant again and are too busy to give her the TLC she deserves!
