Story
Gabby is a wonderful dog. We live in a community of about 35 homes and all dogs are walked on a leash. My heart breaks that she is unable to do her favorite thing which is run on a daily basis. There are no dog parks or fenced areas around us. The small children in our home let her out mistakenly and she runs. She does return home but I don’t want her to be run over. She has had 2 seizures in 8 months so we started her on $25 per month anti-seizure med. One seizure was due to toxicity of flea meds We do not know reason for second seizure so chose to be safe and begin meds. So loving. Needs a fenced in location where she can run. She lives inside but I believe she could adjust to outside. It’s because we love her so much that we want a home where she has fun running and playing. I would want to visit with owners and see her potential home.

Story
This sweet little boy needs a forever home. He is a snuggler and loves to play with his squeaky toys. He will greet you at the door with his entire body wagging and wiggling even if you leave for 1/2 hour. His favorite thing to do is go for a ride in the car in his car seat riding shotgun. :) At night he will go under his blanket on the bed and curl up for a good nights rest. He is not used to being in a crate. His security is to be under his blanket, Although shy and timid at times he will steal your heart. He still needs socializing and will be scared of strangers. He would do best in a home without children or other pets. He would be perfect for a retired couple or individual looking for a forever friend. He is about 8 years old and was a rescue from someone who could no longer take care of him due to illness. He weighs 5lbs. I have been fostering him until the perfect home is found. I will travel if necessary for the right home. He is worth it. :D

Story
Geronimo is one of the 7 Alabama chows I rescued from the backyard breeder. 5 siblings have gone on to new loving homes and are thriving, his sister Ky (whom I have not listed) may never leave us....she only likes me. But, Geronimo, with the right home, will do well. Since I have had him I have not heard a bark, but I have heard a couple howls when the firetrucks go by. He is quiet, docile, and minds his own business. He is prime example of an aloof chow. I have scratched his back, pet him under his neck and he will follow me around the yard for treats occasionally.....but if he sees a leash, he is GONE in 2 seconds. SO>>>>>if there are any chow savvy people out there ready for a challenge, please let me know....Serious inquiries only. I want his next home to be his last home. Otherwise, he can just stay here until that happens. He is indifferent to dogs that are indifferent to him, but if a dog (my belgian mal mix) tries to fence fight and cause trouble, he will not back down. He will stand his ground. I do not have cats, but he lived on a property with Multiple cats in the past, and his siblings that have been adopted did great with cats in the home. I am assuming he will be fine with cats, but I can not guarantee. I would prefer an aduly home only for him, because he is not one that would appreciate being grabbed or tugged on. He is 4-5 years old.
