I adopted MyAnna in Charlotte, NC last year she is now 2 Years old and is current on all shots and heart worm testing. I have two much older dogs and she runs circles around them. She needs a nice yard and a loving family. She often picks on the older dogs and they are not as playful. I have all her paperwork and MyAnna is ready for her new family. She also loves chew toys and treats. She also loves to cuddle.

Story
We adopted Kane earlier this year. His birthday is April 11,2023 so he’s still a young boy with a noodle brain! He is completely house trained with no accidents. He’s super playful with a ton of energy and he loves to give kisses. No really, like a lot of kisses so be warned! He’s consistently been around two other dogs of both genders and does great with them. He’s been around toddlers and is great with them! He does like to jump up on tables to get food so he will need training for that. He loves walks and running around a big backyard! He’s also still in that pup phase of chewing so we’ve been working on that he will need additional training for that. We are heartbroken to have to give him to a new family but we can’t have him where we need to move. He’s up to date with shots and he will come with his harness and leash. As well as his favorite toys.

Story
Please read the entire bio for this rescue, it will provide all the information that one needs to decide if they would like to apply to adopt from SCMR.Aramis Adoption fee:  $200.00 Hello?  I have a dilemma and thought maybe you would be able to help me.  I’ve been in rescue for quite a while and  I really thought that I would be able to find my forever home by now!  My name is Aramis. I am a miniature poodle (mix?), about 8-10 years young, 17 lbs, fully vetted and microchipped. I was found as a stray and taken to a shelter and then to a few foster homes.  They’ve been great but they’re not “home”.  My house manners are pretty good, and once I get used to my new surroundings and with your guidance and patience we should be great!  I’m quite smart! I only had one (awful) tooth left and it needed to be removed.  (No biting issues here!).  At some point, I had a painful infection in my eye, so that had to be removed as well.  I can see just fine with the other one though, no problem! I might be a bit shy at first, but I truly do want to get to know you and it won’t take long.  I can sit with you and watch TV or go on walks so I can show you off!  You can tell me anything and I’ll keep your secrets (mum’s the word!).  I want to be your best friend, and I would be so very good at it.  What do you say?  Please fill out an application and tell them “I want Aramis!” Thanks. Aramis is being fostered in Myrtle Beach, SC.   Adoption fee: $200.00 Out-of-state adoptions are possible; however, the approved adoptive home is responsible for making the necessary arrangements to pick up their new little one.   To be considered to adopt me, please fill out an APPLICATION.   NOTE: SCMR DOES NOT adopt to homes with children under the age of 10 years or homes with Electric Fences. You can help make a difference one dog at a time. If you would like to sponsor one of our babies, we accept online donations via PayPal or send a check to us at P.O. Box 2005, Chattanooga, TN 37409. We thank you for whatever you can help us with. Any donation is appreciated and is tax deductible, as allowed by law,  as we are a qualified non-profit 501(c)3 organization.    All our males are sent with BELLY BANDS!    for a one time Donation that goes direct to SCMR please go to our paypal link: November 4, 2024, 6:23 pm

Story
Violet is a sweet girl who came to New Rattitude as a stray. She is likely around 13 years old with an adorable face and a healthy weight of 13 lbs. She has mild arthritis in her back legs, but that doesn't deter her from walking or jogging around her fenced-in backyard for extensive periods of time. She walks extremely well on a leash and loves nothing better than to be outdoors! She is house-trained and sleeps in her bed at night, next to her foster parents.Violet's personality and socialization skills are blossoming slowly but surely with each passing week.  Although she enjoys being around her human companions, but she has not yet decided whether she wants to be a 'lap dog.' She doesn't mind being picked up and eagerly greets you at the door, tail wagging away. She gets along well with her three canine siblings, though she's still unsure about playing with them. She is friendly when new people or pet sitters come to the house. She tentative with stairs, but definitely improving! We think Violet was born partially or mostly deaf. She can hear very loud noises likes hands clapping and dogs barking, but she does not respond to less intense sounds, including human voices. Curiously, perhaps because of her hearing deficit, Violet does not bark! If she wants to get your attention or if she gets excited, she will 'speak' by yawning loudly or yelping. She also has mild cataracts in both eyes, but her vision is fine. She does need a prescription ointment placed in each eye once per day for the rest of her life (about $65/month). Violet is a very special lady looking for her loving home with you. For more photos of her, please visit https://imageevent.com/newrattitude/violetv.Our adoption fee is $200 for adult dogs or $250 for puppies under 6 months old. If you are interested in adopting this dog, PLEASE READ THE DETAILED ADOPTION PROCESS information on our website at www. NewRattitude.org/adopt/  From there, you can access our adoption application or contact our Adoption Team for more info. November 5, 2024, 10:43 pm

Story
We got Daisy as a puppy, she is very kind, lovable, and loves to cuddle up. Daisy is 3 years old and crate trained. She is full of energy and does great with other dogs and kids. Daisy will need a large yard where she can run around and preferably another dog to play with. Daisy has allergies and will need cytopoint shots about every 2 months, which is the main reason we need to rehome as we can not keep up with her shots at this time.
