Story
Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Mt. Pleasant, SC Meet Cruz! He is an 2 year old Australian Shepherd/English Shepherd mix and weighs 50 lbs. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on shots, and on heartworm prevention. Cruz is hostile around strangers if they come into the home or try to pet him! He is fine on walks with people around. He is good with other dogs! No children, due to his reactivity! He is housebroken and crate-trained. He is on Prozac for his anxiety/distrust of strangers. Once he trusts you, he loves to snuggle! Cruz has bitten two people. He bit a gardener after they reached over the fence to try and pet him (after Cruz was already barking at him). He also bit a handyman who was at their house. The owner walked outside to grab something and didn’t realize the worker was about 10 steps behind her. The worker opened the door and walked outside, causing Cruz to run over and nip him. He also barked at him while standing between him and the owner. The owner is surrendering him because their house is too busy for him and they are expecting a baby. They have worked with veterinary behaviorists and trainers, but his fear aggression and protective tendencies haven’t improved. He needs to go by 10/1! If you think you can provide a great home for Cruz, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $100 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. The owner is willing to cover this fee and match it, for the right home. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Cruz. Story
Everyone that sees Luna says she is the happiest pup they have ever seen! Her whole body wags when she sees you! She is 9 months old, has completed obedience training and knows her stuff! She loves to get brushed, is able to be crated up to 8 hours and is never aggressive! Luna lost a hind leg at a very early age but that does not slow her down at all! She is able to hop up in the car and runs with the others as if she has all fours! She comes with a crate, bed, cot, a pin with room to spread out, food bowls, leash, collar w/info tag. I am struggling personally and want to find a good home while she is young. Luna will be a great addition to any home and will do well with children and other pets.

Story
Hello, unfortunately I have to give up my good boy onyx. My wife and I are in the military and may be moving overseas, even if we don't with promotions he just doesn't get the attention he deserves. It pains me to do this as I have raised him since he was five weeks old. He's good with all animals and has lived with dogs and cats. Extremely good with children and overall a safe and happy boy. We moved from Montana last year and so he is not used to this environment and has had two allergy flare ups in the past year. This is managed with apoquel when it does occur. Unfortunately, my wife and I I are young and don't have any kids yet that can keep him company during our 12 hour shifts. Dogs don't love long lives sadly and l'd hate for him to spend his prime years not being active. He really is a dog that loves everyone and just loves life. If you have children it would only be a plus as he loves them SO MUCH. I'm looking to place him pretty soon, but please feel free to meet him, I don't

Story
We rescued Mac when we found him abandoned at 2 months old and he became part of our home and brothers with our other dog. Since then we have had a newborn and have not been able to invest the time to get him comfortable with other dogs outside of ours. He is wonderful with humans and our baby and is a total cuddle bug who tries to do the right thing. However with our neighbors his guard dog traits go in overdrive and he constantly barks and tries to get through our fence. We love him so much and want him to have a great home where he is loved, but we just can’t make this work anymore with our newborn and issues with neighbors. Mac will make a wonderful companion to anyone who needs a canine pal and we hope you will give him a chance, as we can’t beat the thought of a shelter, but our time with him is up sadly. We hope he finds you.

Story
Sven is a sweet, happy, energetic 3 year old. He came from a Cavachon breeder and has been with me since he was 8 weeks old. He loves to run and play catch but also likes to cuddle on the couch. I am so so sad that I must move out of state to a senior apartment and leave Sven behind. He would love to have a home with a yard if possible.
