This handsome pup is Sullivan! Sullivan was adopted from a municipal shelter, then unfortunately found himself back at that same shelter after a good Samaritan found him injured on the side of the road. He has recovered from his injuries and is looking for his forever home. Sullivan gets along well with other dogs and is interested in cats. He knows basic commands such as sit and stay. Sullivan is crate-trained and potty-trained and loves to go on nice long walks. He often will find a stick on his walk just so he can carry it around. Sullivan loves to meet people. He would be a perfect companion for hiking or walking trails. Sullivan would do best with a dog sibling to play with, a fenced-in yard, and an active family. Mavis here! One of our longest residents, this incredible 7-8 year old mixed breed gal came to us many months ago, found as a stray, starving and had mast cell cancer. We scooped her right up and have been hard at work getting her ready for the good life! After surgery, she is now cancer free! Now, Mavis is a healthy weight, happy as can be, and oh so sweet! She may not win any beauty contests, but she makes up for it with the absolute best personality. Mavis loves to lounge around, nap, snuggle, but can also be up for any adventure! She is so full of life despite her age, and will make any home warm and full of love. We promised Mavis that the rest of her life, would be the best of her life. He is super friendly with all people and good with dogs after proper introductions. Charlie enjoys playing with toys (he thoroughly enjoys tearing apart fluffy toys) and eating yummy snacks. He loves to play fetch and run around in the yard! He is super loving and loyal, when he settles down after a day of play, he is affectionate and loving. He is leash trained, crate trained, and working hard to master those household manners. Charlie has a strong prey drive, so he would be best suited for a home without cats or small animals. However, sweet Colt is still waiting ever so patiently. Colt is a calm, loving, affectionate boy who is well mannered and gentle. He loves other dogs, walkies, playing in the yards with other dogs, and chewing on toys. Colt is a sucker for a soft blanket and yummy treat, and unfortunately a kennel in our rescue is the only life this boy has ever known. Colt deserves a second chance at a forever family, and soon!
