Luna is an exceptional dog. She is sweet, snuggly and loves to play. We are devastated that our son has developed severe allergies to her and all the medication we have tried does not help. Our family is beyond upset and would love Luna to have a large yard to run and play.

Story
Lucy is a beautiful Great Pyrenees who absolutely loves kids and does great with other dogs. She currently lives with both a dog and a cat and gets along well with both, so she would do great in a multi-pet home. She has a calm, loving personality but still enjoys playtime and being part of the family. Lucy loves all the human cuddles she can get and will happily soak up every bit of attention and affection you give her 🤍 The only thing to note is that she gets anxious during car rides, so she would do best in a home where travel is minimal or with someone willing to help her feel more comfortable over time. It breaks my heart to rehome her, but I want her to have the loving home and attention she truly deserves. I’m looking for a family who will cherish her, keep her safe, and love her as much as we do 🤍

Story
💛 Rehoming: Simba – Mini Bernedoodle | 6 Years Old | Fort Mill, SC 💛 It's never easy to write a post like this, but we want to make sure Simba finds the most perfect home possible — and that means being honest about what he needs. Simba is a 6-year-old mini Bernedoodle with the biggest heart. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, crate trained, and walks beautifully on a leash. He is treat-motivated, easy to manage, and an absolute world-class snuggler. He loves people of all ages — adults, kids, strangers — everyone is his best friend. The one thing Simba needs? To be the only dog. 🐾 He has lived with other dogs and it just isn't his happy place. He deserves a home where he gets every ounce of love and attention — and trust us, he will pay it back tenfold from his permanent spot on your couch. ✅ Neutered & fully vaccinated ✅ Crate trained ✅ Walks great on a leash ✅ Treat-motivated & easy to train ✅ Loves to snuggle ✅ Great with people & kids 🏠 Needs to be the only dog in the home

Story
I’m Denise, a stunning gray and white terrier who flashes the world’s biggest smile.I have a delightful, funny personality and my favorite thing is going on my daily walks with staff and volunteers at the Humane Society of York County. Well, actually my favorite thing is flopping down for belly rubs after my walks, if I’m being honest.I had a terribly tumultuous arrival at HSYC, where I was abandoned overnight, tied to a fence during a cold rain.I was pretty terrified of everyone after HSYC took me in. The staff spent lots of time showing me that I could trust humans, and I’ve come a very long way since then. My estimated birth date is about April 2021, and I’m a medium-size girl, around 50 pounds.I’m an affectionate pup and love greeting people. I’m not interested in 4-legged friends, though, and will need to be the only pet in my forever home. I would do best in a home without children under 12.I have excellent leash-walking skills and I enjoy playing with toys – and snuggling with my human friends. If you wish to meet me, please call the Humane Society of York County at (803)-802-0902 to schedule an appointment. Please refer to our website for adoption requirements: https://humanesocietyofyorkcounty.org/adopt/adoption-process.htmlThank you for your support.
