This beautiful 3-year-old Hound mix, weighing 52 pounds, first came to us as a stray at only 1 year old and has since earned several adorable nicknames, including 'Macey' and 'Mace-arooni,' and for over two years, he’s been patiently waiting for a family to call his own. With his irresistible smile, expressive face, and the silliest prance, Mace has a way of capturing hearts wherever he goes. Though naturally reserved and nervous around new people at first, Mace has made incredible strides during his time with us. Once he warms up to you, he is affectionate, playful, and loyal. As an office dog, he’s been working on his socialization and showing us all just how special he is. Mace’s gentle, loving nature shines brightest when he’s around other dogs and animals. He gets along excellently with everybody—cats and dogs included. In fact, we often utilize Mace to help us test the temperaments of other dogs. He LOVES to play with other dogs, and his personality truly soars in their company. He’s a true friend to everyone he meets! When he’s not busy charming us with his prance or melting our hearts with his smile, Mace is learning to play with toys, and it is the most heartwarming thing to see. Mace loves curling up in cozy dog beds in the office. He’s also a great on a leash and enjoys going for walks. With just a bit of patience and love, Mace is sure to continue blossoming into a confident, playful companion.
