Two years old as of November 9th, Koda is truly an amazing dog. We have raised him since he was a puppy in our home, but we are no longer able to meet his needs as we are raising a child of our own. He is extremely gentle with children, letting our daughter crawl on him without moving. Koda also likes attention. He wants to lay on your feet and be with you every step of the way. If you take him outside he always wants to be able to see you and will not run away. He is also great with other dogs. Very passive and not the aggressor. He will play for hours whether it be fetching or playing tug. He also likes to find the squeaky parts of toys, always finding a way to tear them apart! Koda is in need of a home where there is space inside and outside. He is a high energy dog that knows when to sit, and listens very well. We just simply do not have the time to give him the attention he deserves which is why we are trying to find him a great home.

I was brought to the shelter by the humane officer with bad skin infection, but with all the awesome care and medications I`m getting at the shelter, my hair is growing back and I am feeling so much better! I love to run and play in the play yards. I am very strong and will need some leash training, and prefer to be with a human as much as possible. I will prefer to just live with humans, and will need to meet them before adoption. No children under 15.
