I acquired him through a breeder that was selling puppies. He is 2 years old so still young. Just looking for a great home for him to thrive in. He loves dogs and cats. Good with children as well. He is fun and loving very goofy. Crate trained as well.

Story
Keno is 100% cane corso (we know this because we had him DNA tested) but no official papers. He is a super loveable boy who loves to cuddle and play with toys. He is young so he does need a decent amount of exercise. He is very good with other dogs especially ones that are close to his size. Keno is not a fan of cats and will chase them and fixate on them due to his excessive prey drive. Keno is a wonderful dog who just needs someone to love and take care of him.

Story
Molly is 6 years old, will be 7 in August. We have had her since she was a puppy at about 12 weeks old. Molly is a very high energy herding mix and needs a lot of exercise and mental stimulation. After moving to a smaller house without a fenced yard, plus expanding our family and some new health issues, we do not have the time to devote to the play and exercise she needs. She has been around children and other dogs and gets along with them fine. She is reactive to cats.

Cyborg is an 8 year old female. She is probably 50 lbs. She cannot live with other animals. She can live with children. She is a return adoption due to a domestic dispute so we are hopeful we can find her a permanent placement this time! She is a friendly lady who prefers to be the only pet. :)** Cyborg is in our care in Altoona PA. She is available for adoption. Each animal gets microchipped, spayed/neutered and vaccinated. The adoption fee covers those costs. Adoption fees are listed on the application. In person applications take priority over ones mailed or emailed (especially on a popular animal). An application must be filled out in order to visit with any dog or cat. They can be found on our website www.centralpahumane.org under the Adopt A Pet tab or at the shelter. Our animals are posted on Facebook and Petfinder when time permits. A Petfinder inquiry is not an application, and they may not be responded to. We can only accept so many applications for each animal. We do adopt out of state, but we cannot hold the animal. **PA Kennel License #1333.

Fred is a 3 year old male. He is roughly 80 lbs. Fred is no stranger to the shelter system. He was with us in 2023. He was adopted out but now that family no longer has time for him. He requires a lot of physical and mental stimulation to be tired out. He did live with another large dog - Fred can be a lot so we know that not every dog will be receptive to his high energy. He cannot live with cats. He is great with people. He is the kool aid man when it comes to wooden gates so he will need something stronger than that to contain him. ** Fred is in our care in Altoona PA. He is available for adoption. Each animal gets microchipped, spayed/neutered and vaccinated. The adoption fee covers those costs. Adoption fees are listed on the application.
