Story
Murray is a very smart, affectionate, obedient dog. He is ideally best as an “only dog.” We have 6 dogs total. We have to keep him separated from one dog all the time, and occasionally he will go after any of the other dogs without any outward indication. Generally he is good with the female dogs we have, but randomly he will go after one or another. This is the reason we need to rehome him. He really is a good dog (but very bad about counter surfing), but he really should be with fewer dogs. I think he just gets jealous of the attention we give to our other dogs. He is up to date, neutered, and decently trained. Crate trained, and really likes his crate. He is free to a good home.

Story
Miss Roxie is still looking for her forever home! Please share!! Roxie is a 1 year old Pittie & Catahoula Leopard Mix. Some of her many key features are her floppy ears, her chocolate brown eyes, & her white dipped feet. As a puppy she had a black coat but now her Catahoula colors are coming through as she gets older. An important thing to note about Roxie is that she requires some special care due to having only one kidney. With her prescription diet and a little extra bloodwork, Roxie will live a very happy life. Despite her condition, Roxie is a happy & energetic girl. Some of her favorite activities include learning new puzzle toys and games, getting the zoomies, and playing with her foster siblings. She is shy at first with new people so I believe she will do best with a home with adults and teenagers. Roxie could be happy as an only dog or she would love a big (dog) brother to romp with. A dog sibling her size (55 lbs) or larger would be the best fit. But if she’s the only dog in the home, I know she’d love soaking up the attention. Roxie has had one on one leash walk training and is very enthusiastic to learn. But I know she would thrive in a home with a yard or an active exercise partner for walks/runs. Story
Meet Indy! She is a 1year old Staffordshire/Shepherd mix, and is a lean & muscular 45-50lbs. Indy was recently diagnosed with heartworm and needs to undergo treatment, part of which is taking medication to help keep her calm. Indy is hit or miss with other dogs, and was never 100% solid with one of the dogs in the current foster home, and since being on medication she has suddenly stopped getting along with that dog. He is an older dog and Indy is becoming sporadically aggressive with him, while still getting along wonderfully with the other resident dog. Heartworm treatment isn't hard or time-consuming for the foster. She is scheduled for her first injection on July 18th, and will spend the night at the vet, and then a month later she will receive 2 injections on back to back days, also staying over at the vet. During treatment Indy needs to be kept calm. No running, no wrestling/playing with other dogs. When Indy likes a dog, she REALLY likes them, so rather than try to find a foster home with a dog she's going to want to play & run with, we're hoping to find her a dog-free foster home. This eliminates any issues with her possibly not getting along with a dog, or getting along with it too well. Indy loves to run around the large yard at her foster's home, so even though a fenced-in yard is normally a big plus, in this case since Indy isn't allowed to run and needs to remain on leash, a non-fenced yard would be perfectly fine. If the yard is fenced in, she would need to remain on a relatively short tether so she can't run/jump.

Story
If you’re looking for a dog to fill your life with joyous energy, Deuce is your man! With distinctly beautiful eyes and a smile that goes ear-to-ear, this guy is eager and ready to please. He’s a super smart boy who craves leadership, direction, and attention. He’d do best with an active and energetic family, who want a dog to bring on their adventures. He does well with kids of all ages, but because he is strong and likes to play hard, older kids would be ideal. While he does have doggie friends, some dogs intimidate him, and kitties are off limits. He’s been working with a dog trainer on a weekly basis who will help do introductions and can tell you everything you want to know about Deuce. Apply today at www.tinymiraclespcr.org.

Story
Sable is a 1 year old Pittie mix. She's full of life and ready for a buddy to snuggle and adventure with. She's a little timid and still learning all the wonders of the world, but she's a quick learner and growing into her own every day. She has successfully passed a basic training program and takes pride in showing off her skills; sit, wait, stay, dow, heel, come, kennel-up , etc. She walks beautifully on leash and is good with people and dogs. Her claim to fame is the fastest Zoomie on the East Coast (for only 5 minutes though, and then she's pooped out)! Her biggest need is for her humans to limit/manage her access to things that she perceives as high value. She feels compelled to resource guard certain items such as any high value treat. All of this will be discussed in length to interested adopters. Sable will not be placed in a home with other animals or young children at this time. Please consider giving this beautiful girl a chance. Sable is spayed, heartworm negative and up to date on age appropriate core vaccines. Adoption fee is $395. As with all rescue animals, breed determination cannot be validated without genetic testing. Visit www.tinymiraclespcr.org and select adoptable dogs to apply. Thanks for adopting and saving a life -- you are --Sable's hero!

Story
This is a Courtesy Post. Molly is a beautiful Stumpy Tail Australian Cattle dog. She weighs about 35 lbs and is just 4 yrs old. She has been with her foster family for about a year now after coming up from Alabama and delivering her puppies on the transport! Molly has received some professional training due to her anxiety and herding/chasing instincts. Being a herding dog, she is very intelligent and has a great desire to learn new things. Slow introductions to new people help Molly to understand there is nothing to fear. We are in search of special adopter who wants to understand their dog and help them be the best friend they can be. A fenced yard is required and there can be not cats or small children. Molly likes other dogs but does best with non-dominant male dogs. She loves to play and would make a great agilities dog. She is truly one of a kind and will make a wonderful companion to the right adopter. Molly is spayed, up to date on core vaccines and microchipped. Please complete an application on our website. www.tinymiraclespcr.org
