Story
Craving something sweet? This chocolate-coated, caramel-eyed pup is sure to hit the spot. Meet Rolo! At just 8 months old and around 35 lbs, this female Lab–Pit mix came to PK from another shelter and is ready to find her forever family. She’ll likely be about 45 lbs full grown. Rolo is full of spunk, curiosity, and puppy enthusiasm. This girl’s got a lot of energy! She loves to run, explore, and play. She’ll thrive with a family who can keep her active and engaged. Like most young pups, she’s still learning her manners and will do best with structure, consistency, and positive training. With her friendly nature, Rolo should do well with kids and can be dog-tested or kitty-tested upon request. Satisfy your sweet tooth and apply to adopt Rolo! Apply at lvpeaceablekingdom.info. Peaceable Kingdom, PA Kennel License #04131, 1049 MacArthur Rd., Whitehall, PA 18052.

Story
Tank is a nearly 7-month-old pup (born May 29, 2025) who already weighs 53 lbs—and he’s just getting started. We believe he’s a Shar Pei / Rhodesian Ridgeback mix, and he’s expected to grow into a big, handsome guy around 80–90 lbs. For his size, Tank is actually pretty calm, but don’t be fooled—he’s still very much a puppy. Tank was surrendered by his owners by no fault of his own. He’s super sweet, affectionate, and social, but he’s also strong and a little mouthy, which means he’ll need a home committed to ongoing training, structure, and consistency. With his future size, good manners will be essential. Tank does well with other dogs, can be cat tested, and would be best with older children, as he may be a bit too much for the littlest family members. If you’re ready to invest time in training a big puppy who has all the potential to become an amazing adult dog, Tank is ready to grow up with you. Apply at lvpeaceablekingdom.info. Peaceable Kingdom, PA Kennel License #04131, 1049 MacArthur Rd., Whitehall, PA 18052.

Story
It’s a festive season at Peaceable Kingdom with the arrival of our Christmas Carol crew! This adorable blue heeler/hound mix litter, born on October 12, 2025, came to PK from another shelter and is ready to sprinkle a little extra holiday cheer into their forever homes. Meet Martha Cratchit, a sweet girl who is expected to grow to be a medium-sized dog, likely around 45- 55 lbs. when fully grown. She’s quite the package with her expressive eyes, speckled markings, and goofy personality! Martha loves toys and playing with her siblings. She’s curious, cuddly, and happy to be part of the action. Like all puppies, Martha is still learning the ropes and will need a patient family to help with potty training, leash walking, and basic manners. With her breed mix, we think she’ll thrive with structure, stimulation, and regular activity as she grows. She’d be fine in homes with dogs, cats, and kids. Ready to add a little holiday warmth to your home? Apply for Martha Cratchit at lvpeaceablekingdom.info. Peaceable Kingdom, PA Kennel License #04131, 1049 MacArthur Rd., Whitehall, PA 18052.

Story
If you’re feeling down, we have an antidote for your blues. Meet Lil Blu! This gal came to PK from another shelter in the area in search of a new family. Lil Blu is an 8-year-old Patterdale Terrier mix. She currently weighs 30 lbs. but is in need of a summer slim down. Lil Blu is friendly and affectionate, but is somewhat sensitive to handling, and therefore shouldn’t be in a home with young kids. She is open to meeting other dogs and can be kitty-tested. As a middle-aged gal, Lil Blu isn’t particularly high-energy, but she would benefit from a home that prioritizes routine exercise (short walks or focused play time) and healthy portions to maintain a healthy weight. Apply for Lil Blu at lvpeaceablekingdom.info! Peaceable Kingdom, PA Kennel License #04131, 1049 MacArthur Rd., Whitehall, PA 18052

Story
Meet Rosie, our very own Rosie the Riveter — strong, resilient, and ready to take on a brand-new chapter in life! 💪This 3-year-old, 40-lb petite shepherd mix has already proven she’s one tough girl. After giving birth to and raising seven healthy, beautiful puppies, Rosie’s mama duties are finally complete — and now it’s her turn to be cared for and adored. Don’t let her slightly serious expression fool you — beneath that determined exterior is a total softie who loves human attention. She’s been good with other dogs and kids, and while cats are still a mystery, she can be tested. Rosie is housetrained and an excellent passenger on car rides! Rosie’s worked hard to bring up her little ones, and now she’s ready for a loving home where she gets to be the one doted on. Rosie’s done building families — now she’s ready to join one! Story
Sam is a 1½-year-old Yellow Labrador Retriever, weighing 52 lbs. With his stunning good looks and youthful energy, Sam is ready to take on life with a family who enjoys staying busy and having fun together. Like most Labs, Sam is energetic, people-oriented, and eager to be part of the action. He’ll do best in a home that can provide regular exercise, mental stimulation, and structure (e.g., walks, playtime, training sessions, and games of fetch). Sam is good with kids, open to meeting other dogs, and can be cat tested. As a young Lab, he’ll benefit from continued training to help him channel his enthusiasm into good manners, but he’s at a great age to learn and bond closely with his people. If you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving companion who’s ready to be your walking, hiking, and adventure buddy, Sam might be the perfect match. Apply at lvpeaceablekingdom.info.
