Story
URGENT FOSTER OR HOME NEEDED FOR CAIRO, MEDS WILL BE COVERED 🐾 Meet Cairo — A Sweet 5-Year-Old Bohemian Shepherd Looking for a Loving Home 🐾 This handsome 5-year-old, 70 lb Bohemian Shepherd has a heart full of love and just wants to be close to his people. A nice couple took him in about 6 months ago when his previous owners were planning to surrender him to a shelter, and they couldn’t let that happen. He’s fully housebroken, great with cats, and friendly with other dogs. He has a great recall, and while he tends to pull a bit on the leash during walks (he just gets excited!), he’s otherwise easy to handle. He’s still learning good leash manners but loves his walks and will listen to commands. Cairo is a laid-back, affectionate cuddle buddy who absolutely loves being pet and spending time with his humans. He can be shy at first around new people but he has never shown aggression. He just prefers gentle handling and time to warm up. Cairo was diagnosed with diabetes on December 24, 2025, and needs two insulin shots a day (8 units every 12 hours) and constant access to water. He eats diabetic-friendly food and is stable—he does not need frequent glucose testing. Cairo can be a bit territorial with his food and toys, but that’s easy to manage with boundaries. He does best with indestructible toys since he loves to chew! He’s also long-haired, so he’ll need occasional grooming.

Story
This beautiful 3-year-old pit mix is a smaller-sized girl with a calm, gentle personality. She is house-trained, well-mannered, and understands multiple commands. She is very affectionate and enjoys snuggling, relaxing near her people, and being part of the household. She has a quiet temperament and rarely barks. Like most dogs, she enjoys occasional bursts of playful energy but is generally calm and easygoing. She has visited dog parks and has done well around other dogs without any issues. She would likely thrive in a home with more space, ideally with a yard, where she can continue to settle in and enjoy a stable routine. She will come with all of her supplies to help make her transition smooth. I am unable to keep her due to work schedule and allergies and hate having to put her back in the shelter

Story
On Christmas Eve, while most people were preparing for the holidays, Eve was sitting at ACCT Philly with just three days left before she was scheduled to be euthanized. Eve is a total love bug. She doesn’t just like affection — she needs it. She wants to sit next to you, lean into you, and feel safe. After everything she’s been through, she just wants her person. She is high energy and would do best in a home with a yard or an active family who can give her space to run and burn off that happy excitement. She is: • Crate trained • Working on leash skills and improving every day • Dog-friendly • Extremely affectionate Eve is a good girl. She’s learning what stability feels like — and she’s ready for it to be permanent. We saved her life on Christmas Eve. Now we’re hoping someone will give her the forever she’s been waiting for. If you’re looking for a loyal, energetic, affectionate best friend who will love you with her whole heart — Eve is your girl. Message us to meet her.

Story
Meet lil Miss Mabel. Mabel is a 3 year old midsize mix who is a bit of a scaredy cat, but tries so hard to be brave. It will take some time for Mabel to be comfortable with new people and meeting any dogs. While in foster care, she has really come out of her shell, and can show so many cute emotions on her face. She loves to play, both with her humans and her foster siblings. She loves fetch, tug of war and wrestling. She does well settling down at the end of the night, snuggling on the couch with you and a warm blanket. Mabel can be a bit awkward at times but she is such a sweet girl. Mabel is crate trained and mostly house trained. She has had professional board and train where she learned some good girl cues; such as place, come, heel amongst others. Her foster mom would be happy to dive deeper into this training with interested adopters. Mabel does have some resource guarding related to food which should be managed if there are other dogs in the home with her. She has improved on the guarding with time and training. Mabel is just looking for a loving home where she can continue to grow and blossom into the brave girl that is hiding within her. Kennel License 16984
