Story
Ruby is an energetic, loving, friendly pup. She loves to run and cuddle. She is house-broken but still has the occasional pee accident. My husband and son are both allergic to her and we have had some landlord issues as well. We love her to death but unfortunately we cannot keep her. She loves to chew things and loves her squeaky toys. Fetch and “tug” are her two favorite games. She would love a large, open yard where she can run around. She has had her shots, but her last round was missed due to a family medical emergency, we were unable to get her in. It would be best for her to restart her vaccines. We will provide her crates and her favorite toys. Please reach out with any questions or interest!

Story
What to say about Dexter Limburger? He is a big ole goof ball weighing roughly 80lbs. He acts like an untrained pup (he clearly came to us mostly untrained). He pulls on leash like a double engine freight train! He was not fond of collar grabs. He had no manners and does jump up, all of which we have been working on. He can sometimes cop an attitude like a spoiled brat. He is mouthy in his play and may bark and rumble at you when you first meet him, just to see if he can push your buttons. He does not like to share his food and resource guards by making you feel like you best NOT touch his food. All part of his pushing your buttons. . He will whine if he feels he is not getting enough attention; if that doesn't work he will also bark. He has gotten more respectful in the time he has been here. Learning to walk better on leash and not be such a brat. He is really a love bug! Put must of that behavior down to the husky breed. He is a husky brat! In being worked with while he has been here he has come a long way. That all being said he also jumps up to give hugs and kisses. He can sometimes walk like a prince on leash. He loves to play, slop in his wading pool, take car rides. He sits when asked, sometimes. He likes some of the girls here and loves to rump and play with them. His lastest friends have been a litter of older coonhound pups. He is house trained and will hold it a good 10 hours or more. He would gladly be a big lap dog and likes belly rubs. What he needs and would greatly benefit from is someone who is a confident Alfa, familiar with the breeds, willing and able to give him the training he needs. You will end up with a very handsome, wonderful dog. BUT, you must be patient and give him the focused time and work! If he sounds like the dog for you please visit our website www.perrycountyanimalrescue.org and fill out and adoption application. Once processed we will be in touch for a meet and greet. Story
Adopted Ginger from local shelter when she was 5 years old and she has been a loving, sweet pet. She needs lots of affection and attention and is very protective of her human. She is older but is still very playful loves to run around and loves to track scents. She is very healthy. She gets a little anxious with sudden noises. She loves cuddling but also loves chasing or hiding her toys or chasing laser light. Unfortunately multiple changes within family has made it increasingly difficult and now impossible to keep her.
