Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Adam Wiggleton!Santa didn't bring me a home for Christmas - but I'm hoping for my very own home in the New Year. Breed? Your guess is as good as ours — let’s just call him a “Certified Scruff Mix.” At about two years old, this handsome fellow is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and ready to wiggle right into your heart. Adam was found starving as a stray (we suspect he was abandoned), but he hasn’t let his past dim his spirit. He’s now thriving — full of joy, personality, and just the right amount of mischief.  If his demeanor doesn't suck you right in--his soulful eyes certainly will. He’s a total social butterfly: adores kids, adults, and every dog he’s met. He currently shares his home with two canine buddies and we are looking for a home for him with another friendly companion as he loves, loves, loves to play.  Adam is an outdoorsy guy who loves hiking, zooming around with friends, and attending local baseball games with his foster mom — he’s practically the team’s unofficial mascot! &#226&#154&#190 His only “flaw”? He’s a professional countersurfer. We blame his rough start in life… but he’s quick, clever, and very proud of his title. Adam is on monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention and is being lovingly fostered in the Selinsgrove area. If you’re looking for a loyal, funny, adventure-loving companion (with a PhD in snack detection), Adam Wiggleton is your guy! &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ Click here for the ADOPTION APPLICATION if you are interested in adopting this pet. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Monty Monty is a gentle 10-year-old boy who’s been through more than he deserves. He was found on a lonely road with nothing but a bag of dog food beside him — most likely abandoned. Despite his past, Monty still believes in love and second chances. This big sweetheart may have been a couch potato in a former life, because he absolutely loves lounging on a sofa. He also enjoys his walks, strolling nicely on a leash, and when it’s playtime, tug-of-war and toys are his favorite! Monty is healthy, neutered, vaccinated, and on monthly flea/tick/heartworm preventatives. Most importantly, he’s ready to bring joy and love into his forever home. If you’re looking for a big, gentle, loveable boy to make your life complete, please fill out an adoption application at www.haventohome.org. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Sage! Sage is a sweet and gentle 1-year-old Shiba Inu mix who was rescued along with five other precious pups from a difficult situation. Though she’s a little shy at first, don’t let that fool you—Sage has so much love to give once she feels safe and comfortable. She’s crate and house trained, and she gets along wonderfully with both dogs and cats. Sage’s early life didn’t give her the chance to be properly socialized, but she’s come so far already and is looking for a patient and understanding adopter who can help her continue to blossom. She’s the perfect companion for someone who can offer her a calm, loving home where she can learn to trust at her own pace. Sage’s ideal home would be one without young children;  a confident canine friend would be her dream companion. She also does great with cats! You’ll find her full of joy when she zooms around the yard—her playful energy will definitely bring a smile to your face. When she’s done playing, she loves to curl up for a cozy nap by the fireplace and chew on her favorite bully stick. A food puzzle or snuffle mat is a perfect way to keep her mind sharp and entertained. She’s still learning how to walk on a leash, as she never had one on until recently, but she’s making amazing progress every day. Sage’s fun-loving spirit and silly antics will be sure to brighten your life. Sage is ready to find a forever home where she can continue her journey. She is spayed, up-to-date on her vaccinations, microchipped, and on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. If you think you could offer Sage the loving, patient home she deserves, please consider filling out an adoption application. She’s ready to share her heart with you  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ Click here for the ADOPTION APPLICATION if you are interested in adopting this pet. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. King deserves a Christmas miracle. Could it be you? King is a tender-hearted 1-year-old bully mix who was abandoned and left to fend for himself. The kind person who found him is keeping him safe for now, but he can’t stay there forever. What he needs—what he deserves—is a soft place to land and a human to believe in him. Despite everything he’s been through, King is still full of hope. He’s a lively little guy who lights up for playtime, then burrows into blankets like he’s trying to wrap himself in the warmth he’s been missing. Because he spent so much time alone, he’ll need patient help with housetraining, but he tries so hard to get things right. His heart is in every effort. He plays well with dogs who don’t mind his puppyish enthusiasm, and he’d do best in a home without cats. He’s strong, a bit wiggly, and still learning his leash manners, but he offers something rare in return: the joy of watching a once-forgotten dog grow into the bright, steady soul he was meant to be.   We are unsure how he will do with small children so a meet and greet would be required. King isn’t just looking for a home. He’s looking for a chance. A chance to be loved. A chance to feel safe. A chance to finally belong. If you can open your heart and your home—fostering or adopting—King could have the Christmas he’s been waiting for.And you’ll gain a grateful companion who will treasure you in ways only a rescued dog can. King is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and on monthly heartworm and flea prevention.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ Click here for the ADOPTION APPLICATION if you are interested in adopting this pet. Story
Clyde was found on a desolate mountain road, in rural central Pa, in February 2025. We took him in thinking it would be temporary and the dog warden would help us find him a home. She just basically ghosted us after that. He is a big fluffy, kissy boy who wants love and pets, and of course treats. He gets along great with our smaller dogs but he and our male Staffy HATE each other and we've had several fights. Our female pit is very reactive to those fights and goes after our smaller dogs just because she gets so worked up. Clyde has also tried to eat our chickens, and attack one of our goats. We've been able to make it sort of work with rotating crate times, but that no longer works for our situation. We don't want to take him to a shelter or have him put down, because he really is a good dog. Unfortunately the hate between he and our Staffy presents a danger to us and our other pets. He is neutered but not chipped, and we will have his vax caught up soon.
