Story
Sansa is a female, 3 year old, pure purebred German shepherd. She is good girl but has a lot of energy and needs stimulation/attention that unfortunately we cannot give her. We are very busy with a large family of young children and isn’t getting the attention she deserves. She is good with kids and playful but not a good fit for our lifestyle. She needs more than what we can do for her. We are looking for an active person/couple/family that can give her all the attention that she needs and deserves. Take her on hikes, trips, teach/give tasks etc; she loves attention and will love you unconditionally. She is very friendly with people and does well around her two dog friends but outside dogs should be slow introduction. She does have some reactivity issues. Any questions please ask. I want to make sure she is going to a home that will love and spoil her forever, and give her everything she deserves to have.

Story
Maverick is a 5/6 year old shepherd mix. We rescued him when he was nearly one year old. He has been a part of our family with our older dog who is 9 and our now almost 2 year old daughter. He is the most sweet, loving boy and wants nothing more than to lay on you and cuddle or run outside and play. He is fully trained and is a good listener. However, mav has A LOT of anxiety. He barks when people walk by the house, he needs a LOT of time to trust people coming into the home (will bark and pace). So he needs someone who is patient. Most importantly, he must be the only dog. He has begun guarding our daughter and his food, and takes this out on our older dog pretty severely. So he MUST be in a loving home where he is the ONLY DOG. Mav really is the sweetest boy and we want him to go to another loving home.

Story
Meet Oliver! Oliver was admitted to the shelter in June of 2020 as an owner surrender. Oliver is a vocal pup that likes to talk and sing. When he's out of his kennel, he enjoys sniffing around and checking out his environment as typical hound mixes do. He likes to be pet and get attention. He does well for photoshoots and enjoys posing pretty! He knows a few commands like sit and paw and would love to learn more! He is a very smart boy. In the shelter environment, he seems to be scared of cats, but has made friends with other dogs through the fence. Due to his temperament and size, Oliver would do best in an adult home or a home with older children. If you're looking for a faithful companion, Oliver may be the one for you.Good with/Lived with:Dogs: Selective.Cats: Selective.Kids: Older 13+Activity Level: MediumWeight: 70-75 lbs. Story
Buddy is an inquisitive 5-year-old lab/hound mix. He absolutely loves to be outside, nose to the ground, exploring his surroundings. It takes some time for Buddy to get used to a person and he can be a really protective dog when it comes to those he is fond of. Once he gets to know you, Buddy loves to spend time with you. He is content to be around other dogs and loves to take a nap. He has the perfect energy balance of excitement when outside, but calm and quiet inside. Due to his protective nature, Buddy has a couple of biting incidents in his history. He would benefit from a force free trainer and leash training as well. If you think you can provide Buddy with a forever home, please reach out and contact Four Footed Friends at (724) 349-1144 or fourfootedfriends82@gmail.com. Story
Ross is a loving beagle/hound mix with lots of energy looking for a good home and someone who is compatible with him. He is a very smart dog and has lots of energy, making time outside very important. He loves to run around in the yard and get his energy out. Ross also enjoys sharing his friendly nature with his human companions, and is not afraid to jump up and give you a hug and a kiss. He has had challenges in the past guarding his toys and being a bit aggressive around food. Ross would benefit greatly from a patient and aware owner. He is fine with other dogs as long as toys and food are kept separate. Ultimately, Ross is a happy go lucky guy, and he deserves the best home! How can you not smile looking at that face? Do you think you can provide Ross with a forever home? If so, please reach out and contact Four Footed Friends at (724) 349-1144 or dogmanager@fourfootedfriends.org. Story
Sasha is a gorgeous 5-year-old Shar-Pei mix with an energetic personality. She loves to run around outside in the yard and can be very friendly when she warms up to someone. It takes her time to trust a human companion and she can be very particular about where she is touched. In her first home, Sasha did well with older children, and would be compatible in a home with kids 12 and up. She tends to be protective about her space and is not friendly with all the dogs Four Footed Friends has seen her interact with. With the proper time and patience Sasha would make a dog owner very lucky and happy. She also knows basic commands like sit, stay, and come. If you think you can provide Sasha with a forever home, please reach out and contact Four Footed Friends at (724) 349-1144 or fourfootedfriends82@gmail.com. You can also visit https://www.fourfootedfriends.org/ for more information on our organization and other pets we have available for adoption.
