Story
Millie was adopted by our family from a pure breeder in Sweet Valley, PA 5 years ago. My wife and I have since split up, and my wife was unable to take Millie with her. I have remained in the house, but am now travelling for work more often than not. Millie loves the outdoors and isn't getting the attention or the exercise she needs and deserves. She is unbelievably friendly and goes over the moon with joy when she meets someone new. She has a super-bright disposition, loves being around people and has never shown a hint of aggression. She is due for shots and I will be handling that this upcoming week. I have her breeding papers. This is a gut punch for me and the kids, but we've run out of options and don't want to see our dog suffer.

Story
This gorgeous hound has been with us for quite some time. He does not "show" well, because once he is comfortable in an environment and knows it as his home, he can be defensive and protective when meeting new people/strangers. Once he knows and trusts you (which doesn't take long at all), he is such terrific dog! He's not destructive, he's housetrained, affectionate, happy, and playful. He loves to lay in the sun and loves being outdoors. He generally does well with other dogs, but does NOT share food or toys well, so that must be monitored. He just needs an special owner who understands how to introduce him to new people and lead him properly.

Tristan is so beautiful, ANY big dog lover with fall in love with him! He does not have a mean bone in his body, just a lot of energy and cuddles. He's not a barker, is good with other dogs, is housetrained, crate-trained, and healthy. He is just very strong and need a strong owner for walks, or a fenced yard to be free to run and expend some of his energy!

Story
Travelling from the high desert in CA, cross country for many a day then to a wooded PA stop this story continues… Sadly his journey is not over. Still in search for his furever home, this sweet ol’ guy has so many tales to tell. At 7 years of age, dumped in a high kill shelter in CA he defies the odds by gettin’ rescued, however his life is still in limbo, unfulfilled. On a quest to find a person/family of his very own who will show him love, affection, compassion and cherish him throughout his golden years, he holds onto the dream tightly with both paws…. This is the saga of Preston, a precious, adoring gent destined to finally know kindness and security. At approximately 50 pounds, this adorable Shepherd mix is the perfect size to share a loveseat, overstuffed chair and/or bed sleeping/cuddlin’ and watchin’ tv or streamin’. Preston loves walkin’/explorin’ and nappin’. He is neutered, healthy, up to date on vacs/prev. Housetrained, considerate of everyone.

Story
Bruce is an adorable, energetic, total goofball who is looking for his forever family! He's a low-rider Labradoodle (short legs a long body!), 1 year old, who's extremely athletic and playful. He would be terrific with kids over 8 years old and/or another dog to rough-house with. He wants to play non-stop! He would NOT be happy living alone and being alone 8-10 hours a day. This guys is WAY too much fun for that! If you think you're the right family for Bruce, reach out today for an adoption application! He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and his adoption fee is $300.

Story
Hero came to PCHS as a local stray unclaimed. He was traveling with another dog, that was hit and killed by a car. Hero is a very active dog, adjusting well to having daily care and TLC. He is housebroken, but will need additional leash walking training. Hero is food motivated. He would benefit with an active home and lifestyle with reassurance. Hero loves to splash around in water! If you have another dog, meet and greet is required. We believe Hero will be a loyal companion.
