Story
Hi, I'm Harper! I'm a cute little pittie with a heart of gold and the goofiest personality around. I am rather timid and it takes me a loooong time to make new friends but man is it worth it! I'm looking for a patient adult only home where I can be the only pet. That sounds like a lot, but let me tell you, I'm worth it! I love going for walks and I walk well on a leash. My short term foster said that I'm house broken, crate trained and I'm an excellent snuggler. Here at the shelter, I go on car rides and long hikes with my friends and I'm always a perfect partner. Do you have a quiet household, without a lot of visitors and want a dog that'll love you unconditionally? You found your match! Email my friends to learn more about me and to get an application.---This animal is available by appointment only - please reach out to schedule a visit with one of their handlers!---The Pennsylvania SPCA - Lancaster Center848 S. Because I love my people so much, I'm asking that all your attention is on me so no other doggies please (maybe a cat - but I'm unsure about that).I know my basics and love learning new tricky, and enjoy sleeping in my crate overnight, while I can roam the house during the day.You ready to add a one of a kind Penny to your collection? Stop by the shelter today!---If you are interested in adopting, please come prepared --bring a photo ID, proof of address, and everyone in the home including resident dogs with vaccination history. Story
Hi there, I'm Nolan! I'm a fun-loving pup on the hunt for my forever home. I'm eager to explore the world around me, play, and learn how to be a well-behaved canine citizen. I have lots (and I mean LOTS) of energy, and I'm still working on my training and can get a bit over-excited at times - that's why I'm looking for a family who is dedicated to helping me become the best version of myself. My foster mom says that I walk well on a leash and I love to learn so a good student is what I am!Ideally, I'd love to find a home with someone who has experience with dogs and where any children are 13 years or older. I'm also looking for a home where I can be the only dog, as I want to be the center of your world. While I'm not sure how I feel about cats, I promise I'm a sweet pup who just needs a little direction and patience. I am housebroken and crate trained. Once I've had my exercise for the day, I'm also an amazing cuddler and enjoy lounging on the couch. If you're looking for a loyal and loving companion, I could be the perfect match for you. So why not give me a chance and let's see if we can become the best of friends!---This dog is available BY APPOINTMENT only as he is living in foster care. ---The Pennsylvania SPCA - Lancaster Center848 S. Story
Hi, I'm Scoob! I originally came to the shelter as a stray. I was then bounced around between adoptive homes and even another shelter when my latest adopter wasn't taking good care of me. I deserve a better life and I really want my next home to be my furever. I am such a ham and absolutely love cuddles and lots of attention. I am looking to be pampered and get all the TLC I truly deserve. I am open to living with children that are 13 and older, as I am not fond of sharing what's mine. I may do well living with cats given proper introduction. I have historically been selective about my dog friends, but I do enjoy the companionship of some. I do need some work on my manners and training as I tend to get over-aroused and mouthy when I am excited. I would be so delighted to find my new family and be your new best friend and companion, so I hope you'll consider adopting me!---If you are interested in adopting, please come prepared --bring a photo ID, proof of address, and everyone in the home including resident dogs with vaccination history. Story
Meet Garret!Garret is an adorable and unique companion. He may get along well with other dogs, but new friendships can make him a bit unsure. While his interactions with cats are unknown, there's a possibility he could coexist peacefully with them. This sweet and sensitive soul can be nervous in new situations, so a gentle approach is best. Garret shows promising signs of potentially being housebroken from his time as a stray. Garret is looking for a home with children 10+.If you're looking for a loyal and affectionate companion who needs extra love and care, Garret might be the perfect match. Help us give him the loving home he deserves, and you'll be rewarded with a lifetime of loyalty and companionship. Adopt Garret and be part of his heartwarming journey to a brighter future.---This animal is available by appointment only - please reach out to schedule an appointment with one of his handlers!---The Pennsylvania SPCA - Lancaster Center848 S.
