Story
Ghezzi was found abandoned on the side of the road on 7/3/24. He waited in the ditch for his owners to come back for him, but they never came and no one ever claimed him. Ghezzi took some time to learn to trust again, but now when someone shows him love he gives it back 10 times over. He’s estimated 1.5 year old, is crate trained, house trained, walks nicely on a leash, rides calmly in the car. Ghezzi loves other dogs and does great with cats. Ghezzi can be a little nervous of young children but warms up easily. Ghezzi is a fast learner! He loves to play and be goofy and go for walks but he is a very calm boy that just loves to cuddle on the couch. Ghezzi has a gorgeous brindle coat that people compliment all the time, and his big brown eyes will have you in love with him right away. This sweet boy will make the perfect companion and he can’t wait to find a family that will love him and never abandon him again.

Story
Beaker is a great middle aged gentlemen that came to us when his family could no longer care for him. At no fault of his own, Beaker found himself in need of a loving home to enjoy the rest of his years. Beaker previously lived with cats and young children, however when it comes to other dogs Beaker is very selective. Beaker seems to prefer female dogs of his size and energy level. A meet and greet at our shelter with any potential canine siblings would be required. Beaker is quite mild mannered, walks nicely on a leash and can be a bit shy at first. Once Beaker warms up to you he loves to play and get the zoomies! Beaker is neutered, microchipped and up to date on shots. If interested in adopting loveable Beaker please call 570 784- 3669 ext 1 or email vicki@nokillarc.org

Story
Meet Anna Anna is a 3 year old, pitbull mix who had a rough start to life being used over and over again for breeding purposes which has caused her to be a nervous lady in certain situations. She is in search of a forever home that can give her some stability. Anna would love nothing more than to live in the safety and comforts of a home with a family that will give her the love and attention she’s always deserved. She will need an owner that is patient and understanding of her past; a low-traffic, adult only home where she could be the only pet would be ideal for her. She loves going for walks, playing with toys (she’s a pro at fetch!) and getting belly rubs from staff. Anna is spayed, microchipped & up to date on vaccines. If you have a nice relaxing couch with an empty seat waiting to be filled- Go to our website: www.nokillarc.org to fill out a pre-approval form! (It can be found under the adoptable dogs section).

Story
Meet Eve Eve is an estimated 3 year old, German Shepherd/Husky mix who has eyes that tell a story of resilience and hope. Her journey through life has been anything but smooth, filled with the heartbreak of being abandoned and on the run for weeks. What Eve is really seeking now is a loving home with someone who understands her breed and has experience with dogs. She has a moderate energy level, is good on a leash and working on mastering all of her basic commands. Eve does however have some quirks that staff are working on with her that potential adopters should be aware of, as she can become mouthy in situations she’s unsure of. She doesn`t ask for much - just understanding and compassion from her future family. An adult-only home is preferred, and experienced adopters who can provide the guidance and care she needs would be the perfect match. Eve is spayed, microchipped & up to date on all her vaccinations. She is also seems to do well with other dogs and is open to meeting them (a meet and greet would be required at our shelter for any potential canine siblings). With the right person or family, Eve has the potential to become a loyal and loving companion, ready to embark on a new and more stable chapter of her life. If you think you could provide her with that: please go to our website: www.nokillarc.org to fill out a pre-approval form (it can be found under the ‘adoptable dogs’ section).
