Story
Paws-In-Prison Program GRADUATE! Meet Charlee, the canine Einstein! This super happy-go-lucky graduate is so well-trained, she practically has a PhD in obedience. Her inmate trainers had a blast teaching her because Charlee LOVES to learn and shows off her tricks with pride. Charlee has a bit of a picky side when it comes to other dogs, but give her a few meet-and-greets, and she'll be wagging tails in no time. She's had some exposure to cats, kittens, other dogs, and little kids, but that was a while ago. Also, this girl loves to zoom around, so a fenced-in yard is a must! Here's Charlee's impressive resume from her time behind bars: - **House Trained** - **Crate Trained** - **Sit** - **Lay** - **Stand** - **Heel** - **Loose Leash Walking** - **Changing Paces & Directions WITH You** - **Recall to the Front with an Auto-Sit** - **Recall with a Park It (Circles Around You, Then Sits at Your Side)** - **Place** - **Watch Me** - **Speak** - **Leave It** - **Touch** - **Up** - **Down** - **Take It** - **Drop It** - **Wait** - **Back Up** - **Roll Over** - **Cross Paws** - **Kennel Up** - **Chin Rest** - **Take a Bow** - **Say Your Prayers** - **Greeting a Stranger** - **Two Up** All these skills are performed with distance, duration, and distractions, making Charlee an obedience superstar! Because of her advanced training, her new adopter MUST attend training sessions to learn how to communicate with her properly. We've put a ton of work into Charlee's training, and we want to make sure she keeps learning and shining. Charlee is a sweet, loving dog who doesn't demand constant attention. She enjoys cuddles but usually in short, sweet bursts. Consider yourself extremely lucky if you're chosen to be Charlee's forever human! Be sure to visit our Facebook page for additional pictures and information on our rescues! "Canine Partners Program Inc." We can NOT guarantee breed or breed mix. We have limited info on the rescues background and only guess or use info given to us by previous owner. Change in environment can change behaviors therefore, we can NOT guarantee personality, temperament, likes and dislikes! Our dogs are fully vetted. This includes spay or neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, rabies, microchipped, Heartworm and Lyme tested, worming, flea treatments, Heartworm prevention started, and any other medical care needed. **URGENT: Help Thelma and Louise Find Their Forever Home!** Imagine waiting for years, hoping someone will choose you, only to be overlooked time and time again. This is the heartbreaking reality for Thelma and Louise, a bonded mom and pup duo who desperately need a second chance. These girls are absolutely gorgeous and incredibly sweet! Thelma, the loving mama, and Louise, her playful pup, have been through so much together and deserve a forever home where they can finally feel safe and loved. We don't know much about their past since we weren't their original rescue, but we do know they came to us completely emaciated-skin over bones. It took a solid month for them to slowly gain the weight they needed. Despite their struggles, they remained the sweetest girls, showing nothing but love to everyone they met. Thelma is very house trained and super friendly with everybody she meets. Louise, her loyal pup, is slightly shy at first but warms up quickly! They absolutely adore each other and must be adopted together. We will NOT separate them under any circumstances. Sadly, Thelma had a traumatic experience with her previous adopters. They didn't know she was very dog aggressive, and during a walk, she got loose and attacked another dog, losing part of her ear in the process. You can see in the pictures one ear is slightly shorter than the other. Due to this, Thelma cannot live with other dogs except for her beloved Louise. She needs a home with a solid privacy fence and no neighboring dogs. We understand Thelma may sound challenging, but she's actually a wonderful dog! She's been properly muzzle trained and has undergone rehabilitation. She can exist around other dogs and remain calm, but she cannot live with another dog besides Louise. Louise, on the other hand, is not dog aggressive. She's just a sweet, loving pup who wants to be by her mama's side. We are committed to helping any potential adopters meet the criteria needed to create a safe space for Thelma and Louise. If you're willing to open your heart and home to these amazing dogs but are worried about meeting the requirements, Canine Partners is here to assist in any way we can. Thelma and Louise have been waiting for years. They are incredibly sweet, loving dogs who deserve a second chance. Please, help us find them the forever home they so desperately need. They've been through so much, but with your love and patience, they can finally have the life they deserve. Will you be the one to give these beautiful girls their happily ever after? **Contact Canine Partners today to learn more about adopting Thelma and Louise.** ADOPTION FEE IS WAIVED FOR BOTH!!! Story
Meet Alpha and Omega, the dynamic duo of the dog world! AKA- Al & Meg! These Boxer littermates have never spent a day apart, and trust us, they plan to keep it that way. These two are the sweetest canine comrades you'll ever meet. Omega is the kind of dog who believes that too much love is never enough! They are inseparable - they sleep in synchronized positions, play like there's no tomorrow, and have a bond tighter than your skinny jeans after Thanksgiving dinner. Breaking them up? Not a chance! House trained? Check. Crate trained? You bet. Cat lovers? Not even a little. So, if you've got a feline friend, Alpha and Omega will politely swipe left. Like most Boxers, these two are high-energy dynamos. Think of them as furry little athletes who need a fenced yard to safely practice their wrestling moves and burn off their zoomies. Alpha's got a bit of a past - he was on the receiving end of some not-so-friendly dog encounters, so he's a bit wary of other dogs. His ideal home is one where he and Omega can be the stars of the show, sans other canine co-stars. They're great with kids, but only the older ones who can handle their playful Boxer antics. Ready to double your doggy delight with this bonded pair? Alpha and Omega are waiting to bring a whole lot of love and laughter into your life! Adoption for BOTH dogs $300.00 NOT EACH!
