Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Adopted Ginger from local shelter when she was 5 years old and she has been a loving, sweet pet. She needs lots of affection and attention and is very protective of her human. She is older but is still very playful loves to run around and loves to track scents. She is very healthy. She gets a little anxious with sudden noises. She loves cuddling but also loves chasing or hiding her toys or chasing laser light. Unfortunately multiple changes within family has made it increasingly difficult and now impossible to keep her.

Story
Coffee is a 4-year-old, spayed female Pit/Ridgeback mix. I fostered her in May 2024 and I decided to adopt her in September. Unfortunately, due to personal circumstances, I am now no longer able to care for her long term. Coffee is crate and house trained, knows the commands: recall, place, heel, center, sit, and down. She walks on a loose leash, even in crowded areas like the city streets. She has regressed with her leash aggression towards other dogs. I’m working with a trainer to fully remove this behavior. She has no known health issues and is on preventive meds for heartworm, flea, and tick. She gets about 1-2 hours of exercise and training each day. During the weekdays, she is alone for about 8 hours a day, with a one-hour break in the middle. She loves playing tug, going for walks, and taking car rides, and has always been sweet and affectionate with people. Coffee deserves a stable and loving home.

Story
German Shepherd Husky to be rehomed. Her name is Rose, she’ll be two years in June (22nd I believe) I took her from an Amish farmer. She was his personal dog that his neighbor gave him since his other German shepherd passed away from old age. He rehomed her because she started killing his chickens and he couldn’t get her to stop. I took her mainly as an unofficial foster to make her more adoptable and get her into a more stable environment. I debated keeping her but after approximately 3 months I can’t handle her quirks anymore. I’m not a very Husky tolerant person, but I wanted to see if her German Shepherd genetics outweighed the Husky genetics. She behaves probably like 70% German Shepherd and 30% Husky. I would recommend no young kids, and either no dogs or a dog of similar size that will stand up for themselves.

Story
Zion was adopted from an Amish breeder in 2022. Since then he has been a wonderful and loving addition to our family. However, with the change of family dynamics it’s been difficult to properly care for and give him the attention he deserves. Because of the lack of attention he’s still working on proper potty training and has a habit of resource guarding, though he often listens when told to “drop it”. He responds well to rewards and loves attention!

Story
Rosie is a Great Pyrenees/Border Collie love bug-- she will greet you with an actual hug by standing on her back legs and hugging you around the torso-- she is crate trained, house trained, and temporarily lived with a puppy who she tolerated and enjoyed playing with. She does not have MUCH experience with small children but does love everyone she meets. Her "go to" greeting style is to ENTHUSIASTICALLY bark and jump and spin and wag her tail to get to any strangers and/or other dogs so she can play and make them her new best buddies. Once she is with her new friends she is loving and playful, her greeting style may need some work :) We rescued her from a military family in North Carolina when there duty station changed to overseas and they cannot take her along. Hearts broke, but we know she will find a loving family who will cherish her fun, playful, loving heart as much as they did.

Story
Ruby is an energetic, loving, friendly pup. She loves to run and cuddle. She is house-broken but still has the occasional pee accident. My husband and son are both allergic to her and we have had some landlord issues as well. We love her to death but unfortunately we cannot keep her. She loves to chew things and loves her squeaky toys. Fetch and “tug” are her two favorite games. She would love a large, open yard where she can run around. She has had her shots, but her last round was missed due to a family medical emergency, we were unable to get her in. It would be best for her to restart her vaccines. We will provide her crates and her favorite toys. Please reach out with any questions or interest!
