Story
MEET SPIRIT! Need a gardening buddy? Spirit’s your girl! She’ll tip-toe through your tulips without wrinkling a petal. She will be your quiet shadow! Spirit is a petite, energetic little girl who is about three-years-old. She loves to cuddle and get petted. She is a quick-learner, especially when treats are involved! Spirit is crate trained, house trained and rides well in the car. She needs to be crated if home alone. Spirit can pull on leash, but does better on an Easy-Walk Harness. Spirit is a typical athletic Husky and can jump a 4ft. fence. She will need at least a 5ft. fenced yard. Spirit does well with other male dogs, but not females. No cats or small animals for Spirit. Spirit has not been around young children so recommend a home with older children, thirteen and up. Spirit is a great hostess! She will welcome your guests and make them feel well loved! Spirit is looking forward to finding her forever home with lots of love and attention. She prefers to be wherever her family is hanging out. If you’re an active family with lots of time to devote to this good girl, you and Spirit may be a match for each other! Story
Goose is a friendly 1 and a half year old who will happily hop in your lap as soon as you sit down. He likes to meet new people and treats everyone like they’re his best buddy! Goose is a climber and a jumper. He will need at least a 5 ft. fence. He also loves to sit on chairs and play with boxes. Playing in water is also a major attraction for Goose, he loves the kiddy pool! Goose is crate trained and good in the car. Goose is house trained and will let you know he has to go out by pacing and crying. Currently, Goose needs to go out to potty every five to 6 hours. Due to his exuberant nature, Gooses would do best in a home with children thirteen or older. Goose is in a foster home with adult dogs and responds well to correction from his senior mentors. He also enjoys playing with dogs his age. Goose is an extremely high energy guy and will need a canine playmate in his new home. Goose plays rough and will need a companion who can match his energy. A combination of walks and play in a fenced yard will help Goose use up his bounty of energy. Goose will not do well on a tie out. Goose is very food motivate and can learn new tricks and routines when treats are involved. Goose weighs 53 lbs. Goose enjoys playing with toys, Kongs, Bene Bones, Nylabones and tennis balls. Unlike most Huskies, Goose is happy to play fetch. Goose cannot be placed with cats or other small animals. Goose is a sweet boy with a bounty of love to give! If you’re an active family with lots of time and energy to devote to a young dog, you and Goose may be a match for each other! Story
Loba is a very intelligent, active girl. She needs to be busy and have toys to stimulate her. Loba is good with other dogs but would NOT do well with small animals including cats. Loba is a true cuddle bug. She needs a special person to latch onto. She has some jealousy tendencies when it comes to sharing so she may benefit from being an only dog or paired with a very tolerant canine companion. Loba is good with kids, but due to her exuberance children 10 and up would be best. Loba is great in the car. She enjoys a walk but still needs someone to continue her leash training. Loba is a true gem looking for a special family to share many great memories. If you are interested in possibly adopting Loba, submit DVSHR’s online Adoption Application here: https://www.siberianhuskyrescue.org/loba/ Potential Adopters MUST reside in our region of PA, NJ, DE & MD.
