Story
Sasha is an amazing female shar-pei that acts much younger than her age. She would love an active household that includes her in activities. Sasha is very smart and takes direction/correction well. She has been fostering as an only dog, but can be good with other dogs after appropriate slow introductions and does best with dogs that are neutral or not reactive. She has been on overnights to a friends' home with small dogs, but has had less exposure to larger dogs. This girl loves to please! She loves toys, walks on a leash/harness (but could use some more practice), knows 'sit', 'stay', 'heel' and 'come', and is potty trained. She is not used to being crated at her current foster home. She may briefly barky at strangers, but warms up quickly, particularly in her foster home. Strange dogs get an equally barky reception, but with guidance and time, we believe she's totally up for a four-legged bff, but would be just as happy or happier (?) as an only dog, getting all of your attention and love! &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Sasha loves attention and hanging out in the yard. (She would really like a yard.) She will chase the occasional squirrel and loves to bird watch. She has a lot of energy and would love regular walks and fun. But she can be a snuggly couch companion, giving eskimo kisses, too! This girl is spayed, microchipped and is up to date on vaccines. She would do best in a home without small toddlers, but has been on sleepovers with kids aged 7+ without issue. Did we mention she is also drop dead gorgeous??? Sasha is fostering in Northern California (Napa area).December 5, 2024, 5:27 pm

Story
Meet Damascus! a 2 and a half year-old Bear Coat Shar Pei with more wrinkles than a seasoned sage and a personality that's even more complex. With his majestic, teddy bear-like appearance, he’s a self-proclaimed expert in napping, snacking, and giving side-eye to anyone who dares disturb his royal rest. His impressive coat, as soft as it is stylish, serves as the perfect camouflage for his undercover operation as a couch potato and professional blanket hog. He enjoys long walks to the fridge and leaving his owners wondering if they’ve ever seen a dog so dramatically aloof. Not just a pretty face—he’s got the charm, the sass, and the ability to make you laugh every time he wiggles his butt for a treat. Damascus is fostering in the Houston, TX area. Story
Asher is one of two males from a Northern Utah shelter that are new to rescue.  He and his brother came in as strays and both are estimated to be 1-2yrs old.  He is a silly, playful guy.  He is also skittish and unsure of new things but is coming along nicely and learning that living in a house is quite fantastic as opposed to roaming the streets. We will post more about his personality as we get to know him.  Asher is neutered, UTD on vaccines and has had entropion surgery.  He is fostering in the Idaho Fall, Idaho area. Visit www.peipeople.com for more information about our adoption process.December 13, 2024, 1:46 pm

Story
Daphne is a high energy 1 year old lab/golden mix. She is good with kids. However, she is friendly with cats, she will not leave our kitty be who has said no thank you to playing. She will likely do best as an only pet in the home as she prefers all the attention. She will do best in a home where someone can run with her, has a yard and lots of time to play. She loves to play fetch, tug and basically whatever else you're willing to do! Daphne will come with her leash/harness, crate, toys, food/water bowls, blanket, any food and it's bin as well as any treats.
