Story
Hi, my name is Scotty and I am a 3 year old chihuahua mix. I am a shy boy at first with strangers, but once I am comfortable, my favorite place to be is lying with my person holding hands. I am very affectionate. I love to play with a few of the smaller dogs at the rescue. I have been chasing the kitties lately, so I will need gentle reminders that is not ok. I do take direction well. Dora is one of my buddies at the rescue.

Story
Born at the rescue and now hoping to find my new forever home. I am a young, energetic, fun loving boy who adores playing with the other dogs and children in my foster home. I will need a family who enjoys being active and can give me lots of play time or another small dog to play with as I have lots of energy to burn. I am cute and I just know you will love me once you meet me. I am available through Oldies But Goodies Senior Rescue in Medford, Oregon.

Story
Hi, my name is Lobo. I’m really not your typical husky. I am more of a couch potato. I am not a high energy boy at all. I love people but need to be in a home without small critters, as I have a high prey drive. But hey, what husky doesn’t? If you want a buddy to hang out with, I'm your guy. Come meet me. You will fall in love with me when you do!

Story
Looking to Re-home our Treeing Walker Coonhound, Bairn (pronounced Bear-n), a confident, strong, handsome, playful, friendly male Treeing Walker Coonhound we adopted from the Humane Society in late Jan 2022. He's neutered, up-to-date on shots and healthy. Comes with all his records (digital documents) + American Kennel Club tracking that comes in handy if he gets out of your yard/property and leads to a quick return. He'll also come with a chargeable e-collar and all his doggy stuff. He's e-collar trained and listens well to commands/can be walked off-leash. An excellent trail/mountain hiking companion or beach companion. Good with other dogs/packs. Good with my 15-month-old son and me. He'd love to chase cats, but will also listen to "leave it". Full disclosure, he's growled at and tried to bite my husband a couple handfuls of times. We're a single income home currently as new parents with a toddler and have to prioritize our family's wellbeing.

Story
We adopted Pookie from the Jackson County Animal Shelter. Prior to that, she was abandoned in the woods for about a month. She is an extremely loyal and loving dog to her people, but has some needs me and my partner aren’t able to meet. Her main difficulties are that she is very anxious, somewhat reactive to people, and is not good with young kids. However, she has some very positive qualities that including, but not limited to, her intelligence (she knows many commands- sit, down, shake, place, and more), passion for fetch, and snuggle love. She would do best in a home that has routine, has people to socialize her with, doesn’t have kids, and has experience with dogs. I’d be happy to answer any questions about this sweet girl!

Story
Bisou is 3 years old, she is Siberian husky, Malamute, a little German Shepard and a little Samoyed. She is pretty calm and quiet and very sweet! I think she would do best in a home without cats, as she loves to play chase.
