Story
I am seeking a new home for a wonderful 2-year-old male dog, born on April 25th, 2022. He is a mix of American Pit Bull Terrier, German shepherd, and Labrador retriever. He has been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He is a friendly, loyal, and loving dog with a playful and energetic personality. Mac enjoys meeting new people and other dogs, has an excellent sense of smell and hearing, and is in great health. He currently lives with one dog, three cats, and has been well-socialized. Mac thrives in an active environment and requires a home with a larger property where he has plenty of space to run and play. He would do best with a family that can provide him with frequent outdoor time, walks, and engaging activities. If you are interested and believe you can provide him with the space and attention he needs, please reach out for more details. I will include a large dog kennel, a canopy seat cover for the back seat of a car, and a leash.

Story
Got an Oops! litter of 3/4 schipperke 1/4 American Eskimo pups. Corky, who is black and white and grey and tan, is 10 weeks old now and will weigh around 14 lbs full grown. She is the most beautiful pup of the litter with all her colors (I had wanted to keep her because of her unusual coloring) but I’m having to move and she really deserves a forever home of her own! She will be a happy companion for some active single or family. She’s definitely the alpha female and loves to play with toys, and her siblings, and has quite the personality! These dogs do have energy but are easily trained, timing just didn’t allow for me to do it. They’re very loyal to their people… she doesn’t seem to need a lot of attention just checks in regularly to see how I’m doing and get a pet, then goes back to playing… All my dogs love veggies and fruit and treats and have been well fed and cared for. However we’ve had a problem with fleas recently and I’m hoping she gets a kind person to help…

Story
Looking for a canine partner that is already professionally trained? Look no further than Vinny! Vinny came to Sanctuary One from a high kill shelter back in June. The shelter staff sent numerous videos of him interacting with dogs, children etc. and he did great! Once he arrived he was fine with our other shelter dogs and staff. Vinny was adopted but returned because he started resource guarding food, toys etc. This was not a behavior we had seen from him prior to being adopted. Our volunteer dog trainers from Companion Canine took Vinny home for a 2 week crash course where he learned to have manners and we found out that he is really smart and loves his training sessions! Here is the video the trainers made of him: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1-FxCGpywk_f13IbfggqC2cMwZiCIAl-_/view Vinny is an amazing little guy but will need an adopter that is willing to keep up on his training. He is super smart and would excel in scent work or advanced obedience training. He has retained all of his training since he has been back with us. Vinny is very sweet, he loves to give hugs! If Vinny sounds like a match for you, please put in your Adoption Application today: https://sanctuaryone.org/rescue-animals/adopt-us/adoption-application/

Story
Olive is a 7-year-old McNab Shepherd/Lab mix. Her previous owners relocated to the city and couldn't take her because she didn’t get along with their other dog. I have a dog that I adopted from a shelter, and like Olive, my dog also doesn't get along well with other dogs. Because of her past experiences, Olive would do best in a home where she is the only dog. She may be fine with friendly dogs with careful introduction. Other than that, she is easygoing, happy to be with you, and content to stay in her place. She enjoy chasing a ball and walks well on leash. She is very athletic and cheerful :) According to her previous owners, Olive gets along well with other animals like cats and livestock. She is a sweet girl and eager to please you. Thank you for considering giving Olive a new home.
