Story
MEET ROMEO! Are you looking for a dog to be your loyal companion and protector? If so, Romeo is your guy! He is a handsome 6-year-old male Black Mouth Cur, possibly mixed with Boxer. (His shelter paperwork says shepherd-boxer mix). Romeo is a gorgeous, handsome dog who loves to walk, hike and be with his person or people. He would be an awesome companion for someone who loves to hike! He's a great guard dog and can be protective, so would do best in a non-congested area where neighbors aren't a concern. Romeo also has a prey drive, so needs a strong owner. He has done well with other dogs, though has been leash reactive in the past. He's incredibly smart, affectionate, and will attach to his person or people. He is easy to groom, is playful, and loves a good belly rub! He will benefit from walks, hikes, and exercise, and people who understand his breed. Romeo weighs 74 lbs. Please email for an application.

Story
HI - I'M FLETCH! I was recently rescued from a scary California shelter in the nick of time. I became urgent because I simply had a cold. Now I'm on the mend, and am starting to decompress a bit. I'm just a lovable, dog-friendly pittie-mix puppy in need of a foster or forever home. I'm still a bit shy and scared but am starting to come out of my shell. I weigh 40-45 lbs currently, but am a growing boy. I have the most beautiful brindle-and-white coat. Can you foster or adopt me?

Story
HI - I'M BRUCE, a 5-year-old large Pit Bull Terrier with a heart full of love and loyalty. I was originally rescued from a California shelter awhile back, and am still waiting for a foster or forever home. I weigh 80 lbs! I understand I'm a big boy and not for everyone, but I have a lot of love to give and will make a wonderful companion. I am a sweet soul, always eager to please my person or people. I have been good with kids in the past and non-destructive, making me a wonderful addition to families with older children (due to my size). I get along well with some dogs, but am a big boy so need a strong and experienced owner. Born in a shelter and later dumped by his people, I know the value of a loving home. Please email for an application.

Story
MEET RINGO! Ringo is a gorgeous 8-year-old German Shepherd in need of a foster or forever home. He was rescued from a shelter awhile back and is ready for a new leash on life! He is very intelligent and loyal. Ringo bonds intensely with his person, so would thrive in a home with a single person, or possibly a couple with German Shepherd experience ideally. Like most shepherds, he will be your true companion. He may be protective, so a quiet home/setting is important for him. Ringo loves car rides and riding in the front seat! He would love road trips and other adventures. He takes treats gently and sits on command. He has done well around other dogs. Please email for an application. Ringo weighs about 69 lbs.

Story
Sookie is a sweet and loving 3-month-old puppy that is ready to find her forever home! We believe she is a Plott Hound mix, but we are not certain. Sookie is friendly, playful, and loves being around people. She enjoys a good play session followed by lots of cuddles and love. Sookie would do well in a home with other dogs, as she really enjoys playing, but may adjust to being the only pet if you are home frequently and are able to give her the play time she needs. She is currently in a foster home with a small (25lb) dog, 2 cats, chickens, and a toddler. She is learning quickly how to appropriately interact with them all, but is still learning to curb her curiosity with the cats. She would do best in a home with a fenced yard to play in and no apartments, given her energy and estimated adult size. Sookie has done well with puppy pad training and will use them most of the time. Potty training is still a work in progress, and she would need a home that is willing to continue that journey. Sookie is crate trained and she knows basic commands such as sit and down (with the list growing quickly!). She really enjoys training/working sessions. We are currently working on leash training and are hopeful she will have that down soon! Sookie is truly a special puppy that has so much love to give. She is spayed, microchipped, fully vetted (except 1 more vaccine that you will need to get at the end of April with your vet). Sookie is in the range of 20-25lbs right now, and the best guess is that she will be 50-80lbs when full-grown. Her adoption fee is $380.00. To meet Sookie, please go to OFOSA.ORG and fill out the Dog Application and the foster parent will be in touch.

Story
Meet Sadie, a puppy with a heart full of love. Her sweetness is as contagious as her playful spirit. With a loyalty that`s unmatched, she`s a companion who`ll stick by your side, sharing your joys and comforting you in times of need. Her curiosity is a testament to her intelligence, always eager to explore and learn. She`s gentle with everyone she meets, making her a perfect addition to families with kids. Her cuddly nature is irresistible, ensuring endless moments of warmth and affection. Being crate trained, she`s well-disciplined and easy to manage. Sadie`s got all the qualities that make a pet not just a pet, but a part of the family. Adopt Sadie and let her fill your home with love, laughter, and loyalty. This pup and its 7 siblings are 14 weeks old, their breed we are unsure of, right now we are thinking Plott Hound and Shepard mix, but who know as they grow that may change. they needs 1 more shot the end of April and until then no public ground, and due to being a large breed dog a securely fenced yard is required. No Apartment life for these pups. They are all spayed/neutered, microchipped fully vetted except 1 more shot with your vet the end of April They are in the range of 20-25 pounds right now, guessing around 50-80 pounds full grown. Their adoption fee is $380.00. To meet a pup please go to our website OFOSA.ORG and fill out the Dog Application and hte foster parent will be in touch.
