Story
Pacha is a four year old female with a huge heart and incredible intelligence. She is loyal and needs some one just as loyal to her training. She has a strong desire to be obedient, she just needs the correct companion who has the time and love and can work with her one on one. She is so playful and loves the beach and running through the woods, she is high energy and a lot of the time. She will make a beautiful companion and she already has. Unfortunately, I believe, there are too many animals and humans for her to get what she needs. Her dominance comes in with other dogs and so her being the only dog or maybe the first at home before others are brought in would be the most suitable for her. Again, if the time is available for her to receive the attention and training she so desires, she will make one amazing companion. Loyal is the best adjective I could use to describe her and she deserves the same loyalty in return.

Story
We adopted Sia when she was 5 months old. She is now almost 5 years old. We were told she was German Shepard/Golden Retriever and it became very obvious that that was not accurate. We know she’s partially (mostly) Belgian Malinois but we don’t know what else is in her. She loves to play with other dogs and does great with them. She is great around our niece and nephews (ages 1-7). And she’s pretty indifferent to our own baby, just keeps to herself. The baby is the reason we are looking to rehome her. Between work and baby, we don’t have the time for all the attention and exercise Sia needs, especially for her breed. We would recommend someone who is familiar with Malinois. She isn’t as high energy as a purebred but she does have a lot of the characteristics.

Story
Sammy is an approximately 2 yo. 60 lb., playful girl. Sammy has come to us pretty insecure but has gained confidence through her training and is doing fabulous. Sammy loves to play with toys. She loves to chase and tug and play with the ball. She's probably one of the most play driven dogs we've had so her adopter must enjoy fulfilling that drive. Once Sammy has had a good play session and some nice walks, she settles nicely with a good chew bone in her crate. Sammy walks well on leash, does well in her crate, is potty trained, knows general obedience, as well as the "place" command. We're looking for adopters who want to continue her training as well as provide her with the structured environment she's had at our rescue. She thrives in such a setting. Sammy is also very affectionate and loves a good snuggle session. She's a people dog who enjoys just hanging out with them, in typical pittie fashion. Sammy is a medium energy dog with a general calm temperament. She loves going on hikes and rides very well in the car. She does well with other friendly and respectful dogs. She was unsure of them when she came to us but slow introductions with our wonderful helper dogs have given her the ability to feel more comfortable and confident around them. She's been doing great with dogs her size. She doesn't quite know how to play properly but is slowly figuring it out. All of our adult dogs are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and flea treated. They all receive training to make the transition as successful as possible. If you're interested in a meet, you must fill out an application on our website www.wallflowersshine.com/application. We always post updates and many videos of our dogs on our IG page, the_wallflowers_shine_project, under “stories” and “highlights”. Thank you for your interest in one of our dogs.

Story
Alina was born around 05/15/24. Her siblings were adopted and now it's time for this sweet girl to find a home of her own. Alina is incredibly sweet with people and dogs, loves to learn and train, and is very energetic. She loves nothing more than to play, either with the flirt pole, play tug, or fetch with her favorite ball. She enjoys playing with her male and female canine fosters and adapts nicely to their play style and energy. Alina has not shown any interest in our chickens or cats but will need a home that understands how to set boundaries so she understands what's expected of her as she grows into an adult dog. Alina does well in her crate, is potty trained, and is learning how to nicely walk on leash. She adores the people she knows and is an eager and quick learner. She would excel in a home that loves to train; she is smart and driven. Alina is also super food and toy motivated which makes training easy and fun. She will need an active home that keeps her mentally and physically stimulated. We think Alina would do best in a home with teenagers and no small children. She can be unsure of strangers and will need adopters who understand how to guide a young dog into becoming the best version of themselves We think she'll be about 55-60 lbs. full grown. She been spayed, has had all vaccines including rabies, is microchipped and dewormed. If you're interested in a meet, you must fill out an adoption application on our website www.walllflowersshine.com/application. Thank you for your interest in one of our dogs.

Story
Dahlia is about 1 yo., 65 lbs. She's initially fearful of new people but warms up very quickly if you give her the space she needs. She is the sweetest girl once she trusts you and loves to hang out close to you and get pets. She enjoys the company of other friendly dogs and would benefit from another canine in the home. Dahlia is super duper awesome on leash...anyone can walk this girl. She is potty and crate trained, loves food and good scratches. Teaching her basic commands and "place" has really helped bring her out of her shell. She's a pretty calm dog with occasional zoomies. We're sure she'll get a bit more active once she feels safe and comfortable in a home but she's a pretty low key dog. She'll be fine with a few walks a day and the occasional adventure. She loves her benebones, a nice soft blanket, and familiar company. Since she is initially unsure of people we recommend no small children but respectful teenagers. All of our adult dogs are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and flea treated. They all receive training to make the transition as successful as possible. Story
Atlas is about 1 yo., 65 lbs. We don't know his breed but he's slim and tall and has the greyhound personality. He is initially shy with people, especially men, but warms up quickly when given the chance to say HI on his own terms. Once he trusts you he's the sweetest, silliest, goofiest boy and we just adore him. He's smart as a whip and has learned basic commands extremely fast. He does great on leash, and is crate and potty trained. His signature move is the play bow that he offers to all he feels comfortable with. Atlas has been in foster with 3 other dogs and a young child and has done fabulous with all. He loves to play with other dogs and was wonderful with the child in the home. We've also cat tested him and even though interested, he did not show any negative behavior towards our kitty. Atlas is a great dog who will thrive in the right home. He is a medium energy dog who loves to run around but can also chill and snuggle with his people. All of our adult dogs are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and flea treated. They all receive training to make the transition as successful as possible.
