***SPECIAL ADOPTION FEE ***- also open to foster to adoptLocated in St. CatherinesHi I'm Bea (short for bea-utiful, I'm sure) and that's not the most interesting thing about me! Let's start with my love for cuddles and learning new things. Are you looking for a gentle giant to share cuddles with? I'm the gal for you! Want to learn ASL? I can teach you! Well, ok maybe not quite...but foster mom has been learning ASL so she can teach me (due to my hearing impairment) and I'm such a fast learner that I know all sorts of fun words and commands! I LOVE the company of humans, and you might say that I prefer two-legged to four-legged. Because of my hearing impairment, I can get surprised by other animals so I would thrive as the only pet for you to lavish your attention on. And why wouldn't you? ♥️You know how they say when one sense is gone, the others increase….well, I don't want to brag but I think I have the best nose around town, and just because I can't hear doesn't mean I don't love to talk! I am quite vocal, FM says I have an entire symphony of funny sounds and noises I can make (for that reason, I might not be made out for apartment/condo living). That's ok though, I love playing outside and in the yard. My current backyard is a safe place for me to chase the bugs. I will provide you with endless entertainment as you watch me prance around, before we settle down for a cuddle sesh.A couple of things my forever family should know: with my impairment, I need time to adjust to new things. I tend to not turn away from new things like dogs, cats, rabbits and squirrels as I need to keep my eyes on them. If they don't make the first move, I will begin backing away. I can also get anxious if I am left alone, but like I said I just looooove my humans so much! This is something that we'll need to work on together (along with teaching me that I don't always need to make noise to get attention) but I know you know that I'm worth it :)Let’s get to know one another, I know my perfect home is out there for me. Hi, I’m Acorn – and I’m learning how to be brave.I’m a quiet girl with a very gentle heart. Life hasn’t always been kind to me, so I’m still learning to trust people. I might run away if you move too fast, but if you’re patient, I’ll let you sit with me—and maybe even pet me. I actually like being petted… I’m just still figuring out how to feel safe.My crate is my cozy little world. I love it there. It’s where I keep all my favorite stuffies—yep, I collect them! I cuddle with them like they’re my babies. I have a really strong mothering instinct, and my toys help me feel calm and happy.I would absolutely love to find a forever home with another dog who can continue to show me the ropes and how to live the good life. Sometimes, I’ll sit at the edge of my crate with my eyes half-closed, kind of squinty. That’s how I show affection. It means I feel okay around you, even if I’m not ready to come all the way out yet.I’m not the kind of dog who’ll jump into your lap on day one. But if you give me time, I’ll show you how deeply I can love. I’m looking for someone who understands that healing takes time—and who will celebrate the little victories with me. If you think we might be a good match, I’d love to meet you.Love,AcornLocated in BurlingtonMust have a dog in the home

COMING SOON- Once available he will be posted to those on our English Bulldog wait listHowdy! My name's Ziggy and I'm one of the gentlest teddy bears you'll ever meet. I came into foster care just a few weeks ago in pretty rough shape but my nourishment and figure is getting back to 100% thanks to my hefty appetite. I have some sores and rashes being actively treated which are getting better every day too; you should see how good I am at taking my ointments and baths! Once I'm back to my completely healthy self I'll be ready for my neutering and a bit of required dental work.

Story
Hi! I’m Feta, like the cheese! I’m a 4 year old American Bulldog mix. I am small but mighty, and I love to be active. I could easily go on 3 walks a day or longer hikes, as long as it’s not too hot. I do have your typical smooshy face now, so you have to be aware of my breathing and not over do it! I love to chew toys, play with my people, and I’m learning the return part of playing fetch! I also have an amazing vertical jump. My foster mom says I might be a bully mixed with a bunny! Baby gates are no match for me! Did I mention I'm active? I'm not much of a snuggler, but I do love to give kisses. I love people of all ages, although learning not to jump up on people. I can get along with most dogs I’ve met, but I think I would do best living in a home with no other pets. When I'm around another dog all day we can tend to get on each other's nerves at times.I do well home alone when left in my crate. I might bark a bit at first, but I settle fairly quickly. I am used to sleeping all night in my crate too! I am fully house trained, and can do some basic commands like sit, lay down, shake a paw, and I'm working on getting "stay" just right. I can't wait to find that person who will walk me, play with me, run with me, and keep me active! I look forward to meeting you!*able to jump baby gatesLOCATED IN WHITBY

***NOT ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS***COMING SOON***Hey there, I’m Morty! I’m a big ol’ lovebug with a heart full of snuggles. I adore humans (they give the best ear scritches), and I especially enjoy wrestling with my foster brother (a Frenchie) every chance I get! I sleep like a champ in my crate, and I’m always down for cuddles, or just staring lovingly into your eyes. I’m also on a special diet right now to help keep my allergies in check—no biggie, I still think food is the best thing ever.
