I have mesmerizing eyes and irresistible charm. If belly rubs were a currency, Id be rolling in it. Every morning, I grab my toy, wiggle out of my crate with my stuffy, and demand 10-15 minutes of snuggles on the couch or bed. I swear theres no better way to start a day! After that, were off for a walk to greet the world and then breakfast! My days are a mix of watching my foster human work (Im an excellent supervisor), playing tug-of-war, and plotting how to steal the bed or couch without an invite. Lets talk about my personality: Im affectionate, energetic, and lets be honest, a little sassy. Im a husky-shepherd mix, so Im smart and love testing boundaries. It's fun to see how far people will go for my gorgeous eyes. I also use the classic husky growl to express myselfwhether Im happy, annoyed, or just need a nap in my crate. I get along with submissive or chill dogs but prefer to be the star of the show in my home. Im friendly on walks, happy to say hi, but I do like my space when Im, uh, handling my business. Im curious about kids and did live with a cat before, but my prey drive means I might think small, fast-moving things are fun to chase. Have a backyard? I am an expert at playing fetch! What do I need? A home with structure, positive reinforcement, and husky-savvy humans who understand my flair for the dramatic. Im a sweet treat of a pup, here to sprinkle your life with love and a little bit of mischief! Mornings start with me doing my business (a dogs gotta do what a dogs gotta do) and then its time to fuel up with breakfast. I love walks, sticks, and showing off my impressive tricks for treats. Like my legendary namesake, Balto the sled dog, Im ready to lead the way...to the snack cupboard. I wake up between 6 and 7 am (early riser, sorry!) and head outside for my morning business. Then its breakfast time, followed by my busy schedule of playing with my foster dog sibling, playfully chasing the house cat (who Im convinced is just a funky-looking dog), and hanging out with my human foster siblings. In my short life, I've already discovered that older kids are top-tier snuggle buddies, and little kids have the best potential for becoming my ride-or-die snack suppliers. Wherever they go, I follow because their trail is paved with crumbs and endless adventure. Sometimes, though, when the house gets too wild, I retreat to my crate for some peace and quiet. While I can thrive as the solo star in your home, having another dog around might help me settle in and keep my trademark Husky vocals in check. With time, training, and plenty of love, I promise to become the best family pup ever. My name is Darla and I will be your sweet, gentle companion! I am comfortable with a predictable, quiet house with a simple routine of eating, walking, and relaxing in front of the fire place. I bounce out the door to go for short walks because I love the outside but will need some help with stairs. You have to understand, I have limited vision and hearing and need a little diaper to keep me dapper so I do need some tender loving care. But no worries, my soulful eyes will let you know how much I love you and appreciate your patient attentions! My crate is my favourite place to sleep and I will sometimes cuddle on the couch with you. I dont bark or jump on people and I am fine when left alone for a little while. I have many foster cat and dog companions and do well, however, I would be fine as THE dog of the house. I am comfortable with young kids because I cant hear them! Theres a good side to everything! My name is Ronen and I would love to be your gorgeous cuddly, playful sidekick! Look at these beautiful eyes of mine! I am a good boy and love my routine of eat, play, rest and repeat! I love slow start in the morning when I play with my toys in the crate till my humans get up. Breakfast and dinner, zoomies and toys in between with a few naps make for a perfect day! I am also learning to walk on a leash and its been fun! I am a good boy and I love to play with my human, cuddle and give puppy kisses. I also like to be picked up and carried around I can survey everything! I am a curious bug so I sit under the dining table and will watch my foster mom cook everyday (and getting some treats here and there). Being curious, I am sometimes attracted to counters they are so fascinating! But apparently, thats a no no so I am still shy when I meet new dogs and people but I make friends pretty fast. I love to play tug of war with my foster brother and hang out with him. I lived with a bird and I would like to play with it gently! I love to use my voice to make sure everyone knows I am happy, and when I am not happy too! You see, I get nervous when I am left alone and I can whine and bark but I am working on it and making progress!
