Story
Zola is a very active 6 year old. She currently lives with older children and is very unaware of her size and strength. She loves going on walks and walks quite well. She knows basic commands and is house trained. She is used to long walks almost daily. Her recall is good but she would need a fenced in yard as she is very distracted easily. She would do best with a family that is very active and would be able to walk her daily. Unfortunately with schedules changing and my daughter moving out, we just don’t have the time she requires.

She's a street doggo mama, and she's ready to meet her furrever family! Nerea is careful who she gives her trust to at first, but once she's warmed up to someone she has endless amounts of love to give. She loves to play with other dogs and her people, but she also values her independence and can be left to her own devices when necessary. She's a doggo who is used to the activity provided by an open world, so she would love an adventure buddy! As long as she has some fun and a lot of cuddles, she'll be one happy pup! Are you ready to meet Nerea?? She can't wait to meet you!

Story
🖤FOSTER-TO-ADOPT RAISA🖤 Female | 3Y | 23.8KG | Lab Mix | Spayed | UTD on shots | Good with dogs | Cat tested | Not kid tested Raisa is described by her rescuers as playful and affectionate. She loves to cuddle, is sociable and well-mannered, and finds joy in engaging with both humans and other dogs. She is an obedient dog who will adapt well to new commands! Raisa will need a family who is willing to provide all basic training and teach her the ropes of living in a home environment. Joy has met cats, and does try to chase - if her new family has a cat, it will be important to implement slow, proper introductions. Raisa has not yet met children but could do well with proper introductions. Raisa's flight from Mexico can be arranged as soon as we find her forever family! Story
🖤FOSTER-TO-ADOPT DEMIAN🖤 M | 4Y | 22 KG | Lab mix | Neutered | UTD on shots | Good with dogs | Interest in cats but no prey drive | Not kid-tested Demian is currently hanging out with our rescue partners in Mexico! He's super excited to find his furever family here in Canada! Demian is described by his rescuers as a gentle and calm dog. Because of his low to medium energy level, he may not show his excitement by jumping for joy, but there is no mistaking how much he loves seeing his humans. Demian loves to play with humans and other dogs but will enjoy your companionship over his fellow canines. He enjoys spending time on the couch and cuddling next to his loved ones. Demian is very sweet and obedient, which shows his aptitude to pick up new commands. A family that can provide a backyard so Demian can relax and enjoy the outside would be a dream come true for him! He would love a family that will let him cuddle with them on the couch all day. Demian's flight can be arranged as soon as we find his forever family! Story
🖤ADOPT MAY-WEST🖤 F | 9Y | 25.1 KG | Husky mix | UTD on shots | Spayed | Housebroken | Crate training in process | Good with dogs | Most likely no cats | kid-tested | Fostered in Toronto | 226 days in care | Instagram: @bellwoodsgooddog_maewest Our hardworking lady has made quite the name for herself in the dog-sledding community. But now she is chilling in her (well-deserved) retirement and is looking for a lovely family to enjoy it with! With a healthy developing confidence, May-West would benefit from a fam that can help nurture this bravery on all her new life adventures! Our flexible girlie loves both the indoors and the outdoors. She is down to hanging around the house and vibe while sneaking in a nap or two. But she also loves to go out to the park, sniff around and greet new friends with kisses. As the certified genius she is, she picks up new tricks really well as she learned to sit on her third day with her foster fam. Her favourite trick right now is "place" and she loves to do this on tree stumps! In the past, we have seen MW do better with male dogs than with female dogs. It is possible, with proper intros that she will do well with a female sister as well. She most likely will not do well with cats and small dogs as she shows prey drive towards passing squirrels. May West has met littles and been very gentle with them! We think with proper introductions she would be a great fur sibling for children. Looking to make Ms. MW happy? Give her some belly scratches! It will absolutely make her day. Intelligent, hardworking and adorable! May-West has it all! All she needs now is a wonderful family to call her own. Think that could be you? Apply to adopt Miss. May-West today!

Story
🖤FOSTER-TO-ADOPT MAMBA🖤 F | 1Y | 24 KG | Mixed Breed | Spayed | UTD on shots | Good with dogs | Cat tested | Not kid tested | Medium energy | Playful | Joyful Mamba is the happiest girl you'll ever meet! She was found in Mexico with her mom and three siblings. Despite this rough start, she has nothing but love to give to everyone she meets. Since Mamba has spent her whole puppyhood at a shelter surrounded by other dogs and people, she is extremely social and friendly. She can get along with anyone! She's even met some cats who she is cautious of, but with a proper introduction, she would likely love a feline brother or sister! Although she hasn't spent time with kids yet, her gentle nature makes for the perfect fur baby for a growing family. As playful as any pup her age, Mamba could play from sun up to sun down with a few cuddles to break it up. She would thrive with a family who will play, cuddle, and adventure, but also provide some structure for her to grow into the canine companion she was born to be! Are you the furrever family Mamba has been waiting for??
