Story
Meet Panda, a 2-year-old loving female dog who is eager to learn and grow. Panda came into our care in June of this year, and we learned quickly that she is very loving, smart, and loyal. Her sweetness is as boundless as her loyalty. She's always ready to explore on her walks and enjoys spending time with her handlers. She is content cuddling up under chair as you write animal adoption biographies, or checking morning emails, and will provide her loyalty and affection to those she trusts. Panda spent some time in a home, and we were able to learn about things she likes and some areas of need. We are looking for a home with no other pets, and although we are working on healthy exposure with animals in a positive setting, Panda would be best suited in an area that has less pet traffic. Panda does well with children and may need positive introductions to new people. She has bitten one dog in the past, and is under our Very Important Paws program with her own tailored training plan.We are helping Panda gain confidence and learn better ways to communicate her feelings with positive reinforcement training. We are hopeful that her future home will be willing to work on these skills to help set her up for success. Panda told us to tell you that she is a great dog with a lot of potential and is doing well with learning her new training techniques. She also wanted you to know that she likes steamed broccoli and carrots, and that she is an avid napper and would love to cuddle after her training sessions. Adopt Panda and write her future story together. She promises a lifetime of love, loyalty, and endless adventure. Her past doesn't define her; it's her future that's waiting to be written. Please email sudbury@ontariospca.ca or call 705-566-9582 to book a Meet and Greet with our star VIP member, Panda!
