Story
File #24-168Current Foster Location: Renfrew, ON *Please note that we do not typically adopt outside of a 2 hour radius from the foster dogs current location* Dryden is Heartworm positive, and is currently undergoing treatment. Hey there, I'm Dryden! I know I look like a tough guy, but between you and me, Im basically a teddy bear who just wants belly rubs and a cozy spot to nap while you work. Im a huge fan of watching squirrelsthey think theyre so cleverand Im awesome on a leash during our walks. I dont mess up the house, Im fully housetrained, and Ill even sleep wherever you likemy bed, the crate, or close by, keeping an eye on things. Now, Ive heard some dogs play with these things called "toys," but I havent cracked the code yet. Still, I wag my tail in excitement whenever I see them in action. Maybe you could teach me? I thrive in a calm, quiet home with someone who can show me the ropes and give me direction. I need a strong leader, but once I know who's in charge, Im all in! Im on some meds to help with my anxiety, but dont worryIve been doing great in my foster home and can chill in my crate for 8 hours like a pro. All I really want is a human to snuggle with, follow around, and show how much Im ready to love them. Are you that human? Lets find out! File #24-134Current Foster Location: North Augusta, ON *Please note that we do not typically adopt outside of a 2 hour radius from the foster dogs current location* Estimated Adult Size: Small *Eddie has cherry eye and it is being treated with ointments. ITAV will pay for corrective surgery at our clinic when he gets neutered. Cherry eye is not typically painful for the dog, and is very common in small breeds* Hi, Im Eddie, the happiest little ball of sunshine youll ever meet! My tail basically never stops waggingseriously, its like a built-in windmill whenever I see you. I spend most of my day running around, playing with my toys, and trying to get the big dogs to join in on the fun (I dont mind that theyre way bigger; Im brave like that). I love cuddles and will even sleep on your shoulder, which is prime snuggle real estate if you ask me. Im still learning some of the basics like crate time and walks, but hey, Im a quick learner, especially if there are treats involved! Im super playful with other dogs and curious about cats, though I dont see them much right nowjust wait, Ill win them over too. Now, a fair warning: I might be small, but Ive got a big voice when left alone. Mama taught me that, but Im working on it, promise! Ill bring endless joy into your life, along with a lot of face licksyes, even in your ears if you let me (sorry, not sorry). Ive got cherry eyes, but dont worry, those will be fixed when I get neutered. In the meantime, Im ready to brighten your world! Story
File #24-064Current Foster Location: White Lake, ON *Please note that we do not typically adopt outside of a 2 hour radius from the foster dogs current location* Suitable for apartment attached living: No | Prey Drive: Yes Hello humans! Ruby is my name because I'm a gem! I have a soft, affectionate side and an energetic, playful side. Im housetrained and get along well with other large dogs. I can be leash reactive, so proper introductions are keybut once we're introduced, we can become the best of friends! Despite my size, Im also gentle and sweet with kids. I have good recall and pick up commands well because I am always trying my best to be a good girl. I'm also crate trained and I have no problem going in for a treat and settling down. I love healthy treats too, like blueberries and cucumbers! In the house, I'm calm and like to relax with my humans. Though, I do kick things into play mode too, and I could just go and go! If youre looking for a girl who knows how to balance fun and relaxation, I might just be the perfect match for you! Story
File #24-154Current Foster Location: Renfrew, ON *Please note that we do not typically adopt outside of a 2 hour radius from the foster dogs current location* Violet here - your cuddle consultant. Got hands? I'll lift them up with my head for pets. Couch or bed? Prepare for full snuggle invasion. I love attentionso much that if I could bottle it up and carry it around, I would! I might jump up to say hi, but I promise, I'm working on keeping all four paws on the ground. Weekends are for adventures, and I love running around outside with my doggie friends and exploring everything. I usually get along great with other dogs, but hey, sometimes I like to take things slow when meeting new buddies (a girls gotta be cautious about her space). During the week, I get up close and personal with this thing called a crate. Not a fan yetlets just say I express myself vocallybut I'll probably get used to it over time. In short, Im affectionate, goofy, and will totally win your heart (and your couch space). Adopt me, and lets be cuddle buddies forever! File #24-222Current Foster Location: Brockville, ON *Please note that we do not typically adopt outside of a 2 hour radius from the foster dogs current location* Hey there, Im Daisy fun-master and cuddle queen. I wake up with a woo to show just how thrilled I am to see my humans, then its off to run, sniff and play - with or without furry friends. I get excited when my furry friends are around, but when its just us, Im more than happy to chill and soak up all the human attention I can get. Ive got that classic puppy energy, but dont worry Im not the destructive type. I can keep myself busy with my toys, and Ill never say no to a good snuggle. Im full of personality and might give a little woo or two to let you know Im excited, but I rarely bark. Im super adaptable, handle new places well and haven't shown any resource guarding or aggression. I even put myself to bed after a good play session. So, what do you say to a playful, easygoing friend whos as happy to run with the pack as she is to cozy up with you? Ready to meet this mix of sweetness and sparkle? Woo!
