Story
He is ready for a home! He is healthy, spunky, and smart. Odin loves toys, loves to play fetch, loves to search for hidden things around the space he explores. He is treat motivated and while he needs to learn manners, he learns very quickly. We expect him to grow to a medium weight. The only environment he knows is in boarding. Let's get Odin into a real home so he can live his best life! Please apply to foster or adopt on our website: https://www.okmulgeehumane.org/apply-to-adopt.html ************************************ Adoption fee includes full vetting: spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations, deworming, flea & tick prevention and heartworm test if over 6 months of age. Adoptions of large dogs over 20 lbs. must have a fully fenced-in yard, so they can have ample play off-leash, safely. For adopters, all pets within the home must be current on heartworm prevention, vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and on flea prevention, as our humane society has put forth all vetting to ensure our adoptable is safe and healthy for your family. In one heartworm-positive pet's kennel, 7 of 10 mosquitoes will be heartworm positive, thus it is important to ensure pets' safety.

Story
Rose is a puppy rescued by OCHS from a local community litter of 11 pups. We were told the mom was a pit. As Rose grows, or shall we say as her ears grow, she is resembling a Chi! One never knows without a DNA test. Foster reports she is lovable and playful. She loes to snuggle and will whine until she gets picked up to be on the furniture with someone. She is a bit food aggressive, like a lot of rescues, but plays super well with the other puppy in the home.

Meet Riot! He's a 2yrs old Catahoula Mix weighing in at 50 pounds. He's brand new to a foster home. His first night was a success with kids, cats, and dogs. He's gentle, kind, affectionate, and smart. Riot belly crawls to play with the small ones. Update: Riot continues to do great with the kids and other dogs. He does well with cats as long as they don't run from him!

ADOPT LUKE DUKE! What a handsome guy! Luke is 1 year old and a gorgeous boy! He is ready to find his forever home. He had a rough start at life but wants to put that all behind him. He is doing very well in his foster home. Luke is a soft-hearted guy and learning that not all people will hurt him. He is loving and affectionate. He is dog and cat friendly. He is crate trained and house-trained. He loves to lay on the couch and watch TV with you. He really enjoys wrestling with the other dogs in the home and can entertain himself with toys. He can be a little unsure of new things and people, so a little patience is good with him at first. **Adoption fee is reduced to $100 for March, includes spay/neuter, deworming, vaccines, heartworm negative and started on prevention, flea/tick free and microchip. ADOPT LEA! Lea has grown up in our rescue and it is well past time for her to find a family of her own. Please share and help us find them. Lea is a Lab mix, 1 year old. She has a beautiful white/cream coat with golden highlights and a beautiful smile!! Lea originally came from the local shelter and appeared to not have known much love from humans. She is timid and unsure of new things. She has a tender heart and is very loving. Once she warms up to you, she loves to just sit at your feet for petting. She loves everyone and everything. She is great with other dogs and is playful. Like true Labs, her most favorite thing in the world is the kiddie pool! Lea will need a family willing to be patient with her at first and help her understand that she is in a safe place. Lea is truly a doll! Don't overlook this girl! **Adoption fee is reduced to $100 for March, includes spay/neuter, deworming, vaccines, heartworm negative and started on prevention, flea/tick free and microchip. Apply to adopt at www.arlorescue.com. ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS: A secure fenced yard and good vet history.

ADOPT CHINA! China needs a home!! China is a special needs girl. She has been diagnosed with megaesophagus. This simply means she is unable to swallow food normally like the average dog. It appears to be a mild case. She can tolerate small meals, blended food, eating wet food from a spoon or using a slow feeder. Medication helps to keep the regurgitation down. She is otherwise a happy and healthy dog. China is just shy of 3 years old and approximately 70 lbs. She is good with other dogs and cats. House-trained. Rarely barks. Enjoys the outdoors and playing in water. Her nickname is 'Smiley' because she is so happy. Rescuing a dog that truly NEEDS you is the most rewarding thing. Please share and help find China a home. Adoption fee is reduced to $50. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative and on monthly prevention and flea/tick free. Apply to adopt at www.arlorescue.com. ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS: A secure fenced yard and a solid vet reference.
