Story
Meet Cooper! Cooper’s journey began as a stray, found and taken to the El Reno Animal Shelter with a severe case of demodex, a skin condition that left him in desperate need of care. Despite all the challenges he’s faced, Cooper has proven to be a resilient and loving pup. At around 18 months old, Cooper has spent six months of his life in boarding—no way for a puppy to experience life! Even with this tough start, Cooper’s spirit shines through. He loves playing with other dogs but knows when he needs his space and prefers not to be jumped on. His sharp intelligence and eagerness to please his humans make him an ideal companion, ready to learn and love in his forever home. Do you think you could show Cooper that his worst days are behind him and that his future is full of love, play, and joy? He’s waiting for a special family to give him the second chance he deserves. Could that be you?

Story
McFlurry is one of the puppies from the Chocolate Sox gang. They were brought into Fur Ever Friends Rescue & Doggie Day Care from Midwest City. We think they maybe a Dalmation, hound mix. In researching his mother, found a dog at another Rescue that could be her twin. They said their dog was a Dalmation, hound mix. He looks like he may have some shepherd in him. Story
Meet Mabel! This fun-loving 2-year-old pup is full of curiosity and eager to learn! Mabel was pulled from the euthanasia list at a local shelter, where she was deemed too evasive and scared in her kennel. But outside of that environment, she’s blossoming into a sweet, playful girl who’s making incredible progress every day. She’s doing wonderfully with potty training and improving her leash-walking skills. Mabel loves playing fetch, wrestling with her foster sister, and having fun with all kinds of toys—even when other dogs are around! She’s also learning to trust people more each day and is beginning to enjoy snuggles. We believe she’s ready for her forever home! Her adopter should be patient and understanding as she continues to grow, but Mabel is already showing how much love she has to give. She can’t wait to find her people!

Story
Meet Buster! Buster is a 50-ish lb. Corgi/Lab mix with a heart just as big as his personality! He’s housebroken, treat-motivated, and crate-trained—though he rarely needs crating. He’s a toy enthusiast who loves sturdy chew toys, a good game of shake, and a round of tug-o-war. He gets along well with other dogs, but his feelings about cats are unknown—though he’s definitely curious about the neighborhood feral ones! Buster’s journey hasn’t been easy. He was adopted from the local shelter last year but, sadly, wasn’t treated well. He eventually suffered a serious hind leg injury and was taken back by Animal Control. That’s where we stepped in. Buster underwent a partial amputation with hopes of getting a prosthetic, but after seeing how well he moves without it, we all agree he’s actually better off as he is. He’s adapted beautifully, though he prefers his nub not to be touched. Despite everything he’s been through, Buster is resilient, loving, and ready for a forever home that will cherish him. Could that be you?
